    Flowering Nutrients

When you take a plant to 12/12 do I need to change the feeding schedule. My lady is at day 10 of flowering in soil. I have been feeding every third watering which in veg meant about once a week, sometimes about every 2weeks.

Since switching over my baby is sucking up water and I am watering every day. Do I need to change the frequency from every 3 waterings to every 2nd or even every watering.I am using the Coco Coir Nutrient Schedule for amounts per gallon.

    Thanks.
It's not how crazy I am, but how much I enjoy it that makes me dangerous.

Here is what I do to eliminate this kind of situation, which also happens with change with temps/humidity and growth phase.

My nutrient schedule is NOT tied into my watering schedule "per se".

My nutrient schedule is a dosage amount per plant/week- so fluctuations in the plants transpiring does NOT change the amount of nutrients-the plant's needs do!
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

This is a little confusing to me, and I suspect that there is more than one correct answer. You use a specific amount of nutrition per the calendar, where the folks that feed/water/water in their medium, or in hydro they 'top off' with nutrient enriched water, are providing nutrients in direct proportion to the amount of transpiration. I assume that these two methods are reasonably close in the long run?

I can not speak for hydro grows, but with soil you are replenishing the depleted (soil) nutrients- which is later transported from the soil, as the plant needs it.

Thank you. I understand why you do that now.

I guess I was unclear, nothing new for me lol.I water based on the finger method. If soil is dry down to my first knuckle then it's time to water. Every 3rd time I feed.
