    Help my baby :(

So I honestly have zero clue what I'm doing wrong.

My pH is 6.5 - 6.8 my run off also displays that. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil. I didn't start seeing this until 2-3 weeks into veg. The edges started browning and getting worse, and right outside the burn was bright yellowish white so I assumed it wasn't nute burning. So I started to feed using Blue planet nutrients farmer's pride organic line as it shows on their schedule. I fed them and then the top tips get burnt. I did water 1-2ml of liquid seaweed with every watering. I did have a slight problem with underwatering.

Humidity is around 48 - 50%. Temps are 75-78F range. I'm using a 400 watt MH. My only guess is it being 12 inches tall in a one gallon container is starting to screw it up? The strain is AK-48. I actually have 2 others and they are nowhere near as bad but have some of the same symptoms. Maybe 5-10% of what you're seeing. Some people are saying it was burning due to FFOF being hot, but i didn't add any nutes until I started seeing that (around the 2.5-3 week mark)

Some are saying it's due to FFOF being hot. One guy said I should lower my pH to around 6.3 and another is saying it's starving So basically I thought they were starving, I feed them and then get burnt tips in most places. But yet I still get slight spotting on the newest leaves. :/

Looks like they arent getting their nutrients properly. So flush them good and then add nutrients. Hard to tell which one as the leaves show all kinds of nutrient deficiencies. I dont know that line of nutrients so cant help. FFOF is perfectly fine and wont hurt your plants. You say it started after 3 weeks when the plants would have used up what's in that soil. Could also be root issues, pests, improper ph (have you calibrated your pen?)

Left out overwatering, and underwatering. Not to mention temperature issues.

For some reason it appears like Potassium deficiency, calcium deficiency, and magnesium deficiency. So flush the hell out of it and add a good cannabis supplement.
Either that or some type of pest like dirt gnats.

Yeah that's the thing that confused me. It all looked like deficiencies then when I fed I started getting burnt tips in other parts of the plant (top) and the leaf damage just kept going :/

I checked 2 inches down into my soil, checked leaves and also have a few sticky traps up and have not seen anything crawling, flying, etc in my tent or on the plants.

I was underwatering at the start. Ironically I was trying to be careful and prevent overwatering lol.

Hi Db, What happens a lot is that nutrient lockout will occur and the plant can't absorb any nutrients because of it. It's always the first thing I think of when I see some leaf issue, and I'm careful to flush on a regular basis (I'm a hydro grower, tho.) Look up nutrient lockout.

That looks like one sick puppy. I am an atheist, but all that I can offer up is last rites.

No actually there is something very wrong in that soil. I would try re-potting the plant in some new soil, and change your nutrients.

Dyingbaby , wth? Are you watering until you get good runoff every time ?

I was underwatering a tad bit with just a tiny bit of runoff. Ironically I was worried about overwatering. :/ I gave it a good plain watering and reduced pH down a bit more to 6.4. Time will tell. I'm sure a repot into 3g will prob get it back on track but I have to wait a week and a half for the FFOF.

Why wait, that 1 gal. Pot that thier In is most of your problems, the soil is fine, repot ASAP and give them a watering to 20% runoff and let them dry out good, 😎

I think I may know what I did. Waited 3 weeks, started seeing some color discoloration. Fed it a full 3rd week dose exactly what the chart said instead of only doing 25-50% of that (mainly cause I was like "oh it's organics so it won't burn) then I kept seeing it so I fed back to back whilst underwatering pretty much every time which probably overloaded the soil. My pH was in the high 6s so it was probably locking out Iron and manganese in the process :/

I agree on the Ph being high..Keep it at 5.8-6.2 and stay off the nutes for a bit..Prolly get some CalMag to minidose on that after a couple days of only water....

May be too late. May already have irreparable root damage. The Downward spiral may have already begun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIgUtdUanQU

Unfortunately having to make a few purchases (microscope/few mason jars (for my auto that'll be harvested in 3 weeks) and soil/perlite/EWCs to repot into 3g containers that'll blow my budget for any additional things.
