This is my second grow, and first one with HID lights. I have a small 2x4x6 tent with plants that are 3 or 4 weeks old. Should I run my ballast at 400 or 600 watts? I have a good enough fan to keep the temp right regardless. But I'm concerned that 600 might be too much for a small space and I don't want to hurt my plants.

A 400w HID would be better suited for your space. The 600w will emit enough PPF to overwhelm your space.WHAT???

How many plants should I have in there? I don't plan on training them, just a bit of pruning. Since it's only my second crop I decided to just take this time to study and learn the plants a bit more.I used to do drugs... I still do, but I used to too!
