    Hi all,

First time grower and also first time poster.....I'm posting here because I'm stumped!

Can anyone help me ID what the problems are with these plants of mine?

I'm growing 2 x OG Kush Autoflowers. They are at the start of week 4 and have these wierd spots on the leaves.

Is this maybe a bug or PH issue?

I also have 2 x Jack Herer....they have started turning yellow in the middle.

I'm not sure about these....is this maybe PH issues or overwatering?

I'm growing in organic soil, using the Lucas formula (@ 1/4 strength) and have a 450w LED.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks everyone :-)

Quarter strength Lucas is probably not enough.. what are you using? Flora micro an bloom? Or maxibloom? Or nova bloom? Any ways you're to start Lucas at half strength for smaller lights.. 300 an under.. an full strength for bigger lights.. I run Lucas with maxibloom an works great! 3 and a half grams a gallon.. then when I switch to flower I use 7 grams a gallon... so I would up to half strength first.. second what's your ph levels at? It's important to keep checking.. worth my soil I let my ph wander a bit .. 5.8 to 7 going inn.. an soil usually buffers it out right? But I have had bad ph problem when I over watered in the past.. what kinda organic soil are you using? An how long ago did you start feeding them?

Thanks heaps for the comments. I'm running the flora micro and bloom. I've switched to half strength. My Ph levels are around 6 going in, and 7 coming out. I dont know if that is a problem though?

I was thinking about doing a flush and starting fresh? Is that a good call? I'm using Canna Terra soil. I started feeding them about a week or so ago.

Also - are you able to help me ID the spots on the leaves of the OG kush? They are rust coloured and they are spreading unfortunately .

      Thanks again for the help

Hungary plants. Phosphorous, calcium, nitrogen. Can use a bigger pot also.
As new growers, getting the nutes right is probably the toughest part, because it requires us to 'read' the plants.
    completed 7 grows
what I have learned so far:
    environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

Thanks heaps for the responses guys.

I think maybe I need to give them slightly more nutes - I reckon you are right Trichomefarmer86. I'm using Micro & Bloom as the main nutes...cause I heard they have enough nitrogen anyway. But it might be that the plant just isnt getting enough? I might try 1/2 strength or maybe even a bit more.

Any idea about the spots on the OG Kush? I'm at a loss with that one!

Hey I'm not sure about the spots I'm very new to growing. But I do know that you should have 2 gallons for every foot of plant I think! So you should definitely think about transplanting those to a nice 6 gallon or 5

Them spots could be from a few different thing... over watering, hard water, ph fluctuating...ect ... but them spots won't go away now they're there... focus on the new growth... if you change up the nutes an everything you should have a slietly different respond from the girl's...

Hope you put them in bigger pots by now, that’s what it looked like to me, the symptoms look like Nute trouble but I see overwatered plant and small pot for it’s size def a 3 gallon pot and for a plant say 36 inch in height I’d go for a pot size between 5 and 7 gallon

Good morning kmdreams, Are those spots on lower leaves? I have had spots like those on lower leaves, what happened with me was when watering, tiny bits of coco splashed up onto the leaves and burned the leaves. Just another possibility.
