    SOIL Need help!

10 more days until Harvest I should have done more research before now as it's nearing but I was hoping someone could tell me where the ppms should be before I do any cutting, also should the soil be completely dry? I know everything gets hung upside down but do I cut the entire stock or Branch by branch?

Have you started your flush yet? You can wait till soil dries out but getting rh down is a main factor more then the soil being completely dry. I never ppm when I flush... I use florakleen for first watering then plain water after that. I wait a couple days for soil to dry. I then turn the lights out for 24hrs or so and harvest after the dark period.

I've read you don't want to let the plant recieve direct light before you cut it from the roots because of startches. You can cut the main stem and hang it whole or cut off branches and hang the branches. You can cut it from the stems and dry buds on a rack or screen as well. Read the whole harvest guide it will answer a lot of questions 😉.

Chef, i have started the flush using just pH'ed, spring water...trying to get the ppms under 100. The 12th makes 3 months exactly, ty 4 compliment. They look better now! I'll update the newer pic...but I fear with this harvest I'm gonna do something wrong!! Ty all

You don't necessarily have to give it 24 hrs of dark. I've harvested before lights came on. It's always best to harvest before they see light again from what I've read. Like I said I don't worry about the ppm during flush. The cure is where 50% of your produce will shine...the cure makes all the difference.

You might do something wrong... but it's OK, we all do, and have, a lot!! It's just part of learning.
I think you'll end up doin just fine.
Man, if I had a dollar for every screw up I've made in my life, between growing Cannabis, and other things, I wouldn't even be poor white trash anymore!!

Decent looking for not doing any research and just going for it !

            Chefbjy has great advice.
About cutting the whole plant or branches...
really comes down to your environment. If its hot and dry, I cut the stalk and try to slow the drying. If its humid, I take the buds off of the branch so to prevent mold. I adjust accordingly to rh and temp. You don't want them to dry fast, it will be harsh. You want them to dry slowly, but not stay damp.

Definitely read the tutorial that chefbjy linked.
            Good luck.
