I have 0 experience growing autos, only grew photos when I was young, but from what I have gathered on gwe, if an auto is growing fast and is healthy, you can top it... as to your trimming, I dont know..

Please visit www.honestgr.ca for reviews on grow equipment. It is going slowly as I am trying to find products to review (and supportive companies!) I do giveaways there, do not tell me your from GWE however.

Let it grow naturally. After you have done a few, perhaps then, but not at first.

what I have learned so far:
        environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

I let my autoflowers grow naturally - just a few fan leaves need to be cut off to expose early bud sites that grow into branches.

Currently doing 2 super skunk autos, topped 1 ,fimmed the other, the one I topped got a lot bushier. It may have slowed flowering stage a bit, but the topped 1 is going to have some nice colas.
