    Growing vegetables

Ok this was yesterday's work. This is all going to the local food bank. Sorry I didn't have time to wash the carrots. But doing this since I was a baby who could only crawl is where I learned everything about growing outside. Everything about Inside came from Nebula or you guys.

    Thanks

Yes it gets warm down here pretty early. We have some of the best weather and soil to grow vegetables of all the places Ive been. I usually have everything in the ground before april.

Oh and thanks. I love my okra. Its a staple in most of what I cook.

Your food bank is lucky to have you. Rock on.

what I have learned so far:
      environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

Thanks. Just time to pass on my good fortunes. I just like growing things. So do it for fun and my mental health.

      That's awesome Redwasp!
When I was a kid in Mississippi, I loved me some fried Okra! Still do, hard to grow in the Co Rockies though! Need to build a bigger greenhouse...

Just had some. My son always gets them on what the trailer a block from my house calls crawfish nachos. Love this time of year.

That will work out great because I am about to plant my fall crop of those veggies. At least in the next week or two.
