Green75 What causes that to happen to the seeds, turning hard and black? I lost several strains to the same thing basically. Purple Hulk, White Widow Max, and ak47. All my other strains took off without a hitch, those 3 either never germinated or if the few that did manage to germinate, died within a day.

leaves me more room to get crazy in there....what makes me more mad is that is the first seed I couldn't get to germinate...crazy huh...ive had poor ones but all of them at least broke the shell .....this got dark black and really hard.....

Lol, that's how I managed to end up with 25 plants instead of 12. When I replaced the thermostat and also learned the hard lesson of monitoring the PH, I had planted 12 new plants that had all germinated. I had thought the 46 I had planted the first time were all dead. I had planned on reusing the Jiffy Peat tablets after checking inside a few to find dead seeds (those were cooked due to bad thermostat) What I did not expect was 13 of them to germinate and ended up with 25 plants total. after a lot of chaos, I had everything almost perfect 4 days ago, and only 4 days later I suddenly have a jungle in a 2x4 tent. I took clippings of my best plants, 11 total just to see if I can clone them. But as far as the jungle goes, I was on the phone with HD for a long time because I need my shed fast. so much buds going to be lost with my autos if I don't get my shed together and swap over to hydroponics soon. 6x20x7 should hold 48, 5 gallon pots easily.

Was reading GWE newsletter this am about the differences in lights . Although I would not have done 4 LEC I truely appreciate the natural light part and better yield/quality than my past 1000 HPS.

Yeah, me too...more space would be awesome. I'm using a 3x6 foot space with 6 plants and it gets crowded in there the last 6 weeks or so_ space is entirely full_ looks like a SOG but really isn't. Working around them isn't possible so I have to pull the planters out to move them around. ..a hassle but I don't want to go with fewer plants yet. Got to work on my training some more. But then with larger plants I'll be in the same boat. Oh well, its worth the extra work!

Nice to see your new seedlings in final pots....I did that to my week old baby, and it looked so overwhelmed by the pot size, but I know it will fill it up soon (patience needed). Best to you on this grow! 🌻

I changed my setup last night with all the feedback you gave me these past two months. I removed the old vent intake fan in put in a second high powered fan, the same type I use for the charcoal filter but without a filter on it and put a diverter to is blows air from above on just about ever plant below and on the floor level I have two circulating fans, each one faced to cover the blind spots the other can't reach. I raised the light panels 10 inches higher which I was able to do by taking each cable supporting each light panel and instead of hooking it right to the pulley, I loop it over and back to the panel which gave me the extra room I needed as the pulleys were at their limit with no where to go. My new 96x48x80 tent I'm expecting this week will replace my 2x4 tent which is only 60 inches in height. A lot more space to spread my plants out though this time I am going to make sure all unused ports are fully closed. Last time I missed one and my daughters cat kept using it to get inside to take her own samples (the cat, not my kid) .

              18 ounces from a 3x3 sounds awesome.
That tent had to be full.
              How many plants...??

thinking of this very setup for my first indoor grow, but with hydro.
