    Advanced nutrients bad or good

    Down at my local shop today chatting it up with the highly opinionated shop owner who is quite intelligent and grows some of the best s*** I've ever seen. He used to sell and use advanced nutrients for quite a long time and knows that the results are wonderful but over time he developed the opinion that it is a horrible product. He believes that organic is the way to go and has been pushing me towards elevation Organics Peak Harvest line. I'm all for going organic but I don't want my fairly small garden to produce less of a harvest. Anybody first have an opinion about Advanced Nutrients and or about Peak Harvest line from elevation Organics. Also the pluses or minuses of salt based nutrients as opposed to organic.

    Nope- but I do know, there was a Polish Horticulturist that completed a study of 7 different nutrient/feed techniques about 1-2 years ago- (Jorge Cervantes- Youtube)
    He did not name specific brands because he felt it didn't make a difference- to the plant.

    Of note- the best plants were grown in Organic plus minerals added-
    Good water was second for quantity and quality!

    About a year ago-I switched to organic with minerals (@ transplant for flower ) and my yields are now 2-3 times more of much better trichomes and terpines quantity/quality and bud appeal.
    It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

      Thanks for the input. How and what minerals do you add .

      @Smokesteve,
      They added to the soil or fed to the plant-by any method.

      I add based upon (collective) previous grow deficiencies noticed- no changes for the last 9 months:

      Si, CalMag, Epsom salts (only if needed),dolomite, potassium, phosphurous

    I've been using AN for about 1.5 years, and I love my results.

      I hear you, it's such a specific thing but can you speak to the ash quality and the ability to have the leaves yellow near the end of flowering. One of his points was that is impossible to properly flush so the buds look huge and taste okay. In his mind they never reached the quality of the organic buds properly flushed.

      Smokesteve I can't speak to the ash quality, but I haven't had a problem with yellowing leaves. I have tapered down my nutes after week 4 of flowering, so IF I flush, I only flush for 24-28 hrs. My bud is never harsh, according to those who vape it.
