    Harvesting over time

So, I have begun the long flush on Lemon Sumpn Sumpn & plan to harvest over the course of 2 - 3 weeks. I want to give the lower buds a chance to fill in. Plus I want some speedy bud. Should I just cut the big main buds which comprise the canopy, down to the first pair of smaller buds on each main cola?

I wait 'till the trichomes are just right before I harvest anything. Then I cut individual colas and hang them upside down.

Bill that would work for what you are trying to do.

      Good luck my friend.

Define "fast enough". Like over the timeline I described?

That's basically how I harvest, Bill.
My buds don't really get bigger, but they do get harder and ripen up more. I find some of the side branches mid way up, usually ripen before my main cola, so I harvest them first as they are ready, one branch at a time. The top cola waits till it's perfect, and I leave the closest to the stalk buds till they ripen, also.

If it's real humid, and I am cutting through stalks that are big and hollow, I just take the whole plant, since I am leery to start a mold infection. Otherwise it works great for me.
            Happy Harvest!!
