Long long time smoker here short time grower about 1yr 1/2 I have had good luck from day 1 of growing, Small grow 2 plants at a time (personal use) Have never lost a plant. Oh sure have had probs but have not lost a plant good yields, good smoke. The last 3 seeds I started, 2 Diesel, 1 Kush and Cheese, I lost all 3. This is what I have done from the start. In glass of water 14 hrs no more then 18, transfer to wet paper towel until tap root is about 1 in long transfer to soil. I have used this method from the start no prob now all of a sudden I have lost 3 in a row? What if anything could have changed? Thanks in advance.

I think you are leaving them in the paper towels too long. There is no need for an inch long root before they go into media. You are depleting the stored energy in the seed.
Also, everytime you touch or transfer sprouting seeds you risk damaging them. I would suggest a germination strategy that had less stages/ moving of the germinating seed.
But primarily, I would get it in media and under light sooner.

Pop em in your medium or rooters as soon as you see that root.https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...-she-s-a-beast

you just described exactly what i do to germinate, it has always worked for me. i would guess your soil may not be the right environment for seedlings, maybe try some lighter medium just at first, like those soft humus for young seedlings sold at home depot or gardening stores, mix with 50% perlite and use a solo cup, once the plant has roots and leaves you can transplant into your nutrient rich soil. the real problem must be the soil ph because seedling have enough energy to live a week or two without any light or nutrients. idk just my opinion. keep trying (: get some low quality bagseeds to practice
