KingKush, man, those are beautiful,
That supercropping, does wonders on plants. Most all our outdoor plants get worked over, pretty good, lol. It's even fun, and plants love it, to be kinda mean to them.
I sure love to see those lower leaves, turn yellow, and start going up.
You gonna have some fine smoke, nice.

Thanks for the thoughts!
This place has helped with patience and thoughtfulness. GWE, Nebula, and all the great members on the forum provide quite the respectable source of growing information. No hogwash, or false teachings. And people like you always make it fun to be on here, thanks for stopping by

Thanks Man, that was nice of you.
But beautiful plants and pictures, and you can honestly tell when one plant feels left behind, almost like pouting, lol.
Yours look gorgeous.

how much wieght do you yield at the end and how big is the area you have 1 hps light over like 4x4 light coverage? im just wondering cause i wanna get a 1000 watt hps too and i use the same soil..

Campesino I know we talked about how my yields went up by having fewer plants per space. I know you have limited space but give it a try. I get really sad if im not getting at least 4 ounces per plant and aim for 10 per plant. I crowded my tents when i started and was lucky to get 2 ounces a plant. I have one plants this time that im aiming for much higher than 10. But it was in veg for 8 weeks.

Redwasp Campesino
Veg time is a fun topic. Right now I grow in soil in 5 gal buckets, so there is a limit to how long to veg. But my plants all seem to be 3-4oz of the nugget I'm looking for.
I'm still no where close to 1g/watt , barely breaking .5 for right now but at least the quality is going up.

So much depends on training!
With Manifolds, I really think there is a time to flip... or at least a week... When each cola has 4-7 nodes
With a scrog too, you have to plan it to fill the scrog.
Number of plants affects me with manifolds primarily because it limits my ability to supercrop and keep them low.
I suspect the length of veg time is going to be a hot topic during the first 42 days of the DHGC!

Before and After
Exploring plant training techniques, this time it's Manifolding with an early Flip. At Flip, looking downover her, she didn't even cover all the dirt on the bucket with her leaves. But she filled out nicely, a testament to manifolding.
"Manifolding adds time" - it does if you wait until the Manifold tries to re-bush like your other control plants, the Manifold plants will never be as large or bushy during veg, but that is okay, cause when you flip, all that "drive" goes strait into stacking tall colas, and literally nothing else. It does gain leaves like usual but just to power big thick buds. It is a bud building technique, and doesn't have to cost any extra time.
-In fact, Manifolding SAVES TIME, well at least during trimming haha
Im not a big proponent of this technique, because it's too easy to do harm or time it wrong, but I can definitely attest and support the idea of creating larger colas, less waste, easier trimming, and 'prettier' grows. Im glad to have grown comparison, less trained plants too, side by side, to provide a good idea about things.

I dont really manifold. But after trimming everything i have over the next 3 weeks I may become a staunch supporter. 15 plants in 2 to 3 weeks is too much. The smallest plant is down. Did it while while watching movies on my daughter's 21s birthday. My wife helped some. I will miss the 2 ounces of popcorn bud I pull out when people o dont.like as much come over. Lol
