Thank you to all who chimed in on my fore mentioned plant afflictions. All has been sorted and we are chugging right along. 2 weeks in flower, 6 to go, enjoy and any advice will be well received........

I am a supreme asshole and just unintentionally super cropped the main cola on my biggest plant. I duct taped it, will it be ok and what should I do if not?

What is the status of the injury? Is the stem broken? In which direction (split or "sawed off")

I am not a fan of using duct tape on plants. Do you have plastic wrap (in the kitchen)? You can cut strips and use it to wrap around injuries. More like grafting tape, which is what the pros use.

It will probably be fine. Did this seriously happen in the 5 minutes between your two posts?

Hey Campesino, yes literally 5 mins after, I was gentle with the duct tape and I did not sever the stem,

At that stage of growth it should be fine.

And plastic wrap? Damn fine idea. It will give if the plants stem gets thicker. Ive used duct tape on flowers (Real sunflowers not these type flowers) and it was almost broke in 2. But it lived, grew around the duct tape, and flowered anyways. So probably good.

      Thanks Redwasp
Plastic wrap is my hack for grafting tape. I actually use grafting tape, but realize that most don't have it lying around... But you should. It costs like $2 and is the product specifically designed for this.
If you get grafting tape, you will think its just like a tiny role of plastic wrap, but it is actually better. But both will prevent air intrusion, expand with growth, and not stick to the plant causing injury with removal.

Small wire ties do the trick for me, I don’t remove them l just let the plant grow over them ! My .02$
