Wait! No, first thank you. Wait..that is not a hyper foxtail! It doesn't look like "foxtail" per se. There are 2 more. Anyway there are several peeps out there that need you on autos, and how do you know what the white dome is??? Did you grow weed in a previous life...?

I don't know what it's called...I call it white cap....it is due to a bit of light stress...but just the perfect amount!!!!!!!!

I've only been able to pull that off three times in all my grows. Last week or two of flowering I try to bring my light down as close as gnatts ass will allow with out burn.just to try and get that white cap....this recent harvest I was down to 12" above canopy...

Lol...I might have been a weed plant in previous life..lol

Totally ( like most things) new to me. So what does the "white cap" have to do with the rest of trichomes observation? As in burn it off by staying more or pull the plant?
again there are newbies needing auto info Car10s99

Yes there should be a talk about flushing....people may have terms wrong. Flushing is not just giving plain water...it's a product you buy to strip all the salts and built up nutes out of your medium and off your roots.....this should be done at very least twice a month through whole grow process so your plant gets to use all that is given to them.

Some people call plain water flushing...no it's just a rinse

P.s.... Tika...I was confused on our last conversation about this. I thought you meant plain water...did you? I do flush begining of last flower week than hit nutes full blast till harvest...last two weeks they really feed and put on weight.

I burned a couple crowns on my last two runs. It's cool looking and when it dries it almost disappears. I've smoked them and couldn't tell a difference. It's tiptoeing the line but in my case was necessary since I couldn't move my lights any higher. I also got some funky foxtails growing out of the sides of the whitecap/albino crown. It probably degrades the thc in the white part, but I'm not sure.

Ya know I have tried handles on the smart pots and only handy (no pun intended) in some moments they get in the way and I like to fill my pots..they get in the way of that too.
I have never used any pot other than smart pots, lift by edges or bottom. My opinion is they provide oxygen to the roots, drain/to waste beautifully, , prevent over watering, root rot , root bound, etc. I prefer the black ones by smart pot..I think the tan ones drain slower.
Good luck to you in your grow

Thanks. Won't be for a few months yet, too warm here over the summer and due to where I grow I can only vent into the room, not outside through the roof or window as the ducting would be visible every time the garage door opens to get a car in or out.
