Sour D will finish soon SO: standing between Green75 & RoyalNugs....I am focusing on the state of the trichomes (including mid-branch) . It will be a daily lift out of tent,observe...and have trim setup established for what appears to be daily whacking one or the other..based on trichs

Thats a nice looking plant there Tika

It does look like that white tip is a bit of light burn so you might want to up the light unit by an inch or two or you could pull that cola down a little although I'm sure you are at the stage where the stems are fairly rigid.

Yes agree. However she is going to be coming down in a day or two so I'm not going to freak out too much! And in order to get enough to the rest I would probably bend them...just enough. I find if I bend after feeding even the ridigd are a bit more pliable
And thank you very much for checking in MNP

Ah if it's time for harvest then yeh I wouldn't worry. I had something similar with my second grow under LED's (I know, somehow I got worse at growing as I went along). It actually didn't seem to affect the bud other than appearance, it was just as potent as the other bud I harvested.

It's a good point you make about the bend after feeding, I grow in hydro so I have to figure out when the plants actually do feed. One of the recent bits of tech thats appealed to me is the OSMOBot (http://www.osmobot.com/). A guy did a vid review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGma63UpN-0) of it and said it was fascinating how the monitoring solution highlighted when the plants were actually feeding. You could see on the spark charts when the plants were feeding as the TDS fluctuated. I really want one but didn't get it in the end as I just can't justify spending the £'s, growing and tech are my fave things but I gotta keep it in check or I'll spend every last penny on stuff I don't need.

I've figured out my girls tend to feed about an hour after lights on so that when I go in and say hi to them.

Beautiful looking plants Tika. I bet that daily lift is actually getting easier.

5 x 5 gallon empty fabric pots are heavy. Let alone wet and bushy.

I wish I had used this earlier. It's part of the telescope lense. Looking at it from the metal side touching my eye the magnification is the best I can get. It's just so darn clear of an image. If you have one it's worth a look.

Awesome looking plants! Seems like quite a job moving them though!! I would be afraid of damaging them moving them out of the tent to water. I use a long sprouted watering can.

Tika, the picture of perfection!!! Would you mind if I download a few of your pictures, from this thread, and a previous thread that showed the flat canopy just as budlets were forming? I would like to use them as future reference and be able to show my husband what we are aiming for. He already knows that I am planning on topping and LST our next grow, but a little piece of him will die each time a make a snip, unless he sees the proof in the pudding so to speak.

Insomn thanks for the pats and yes of course. I do believe whatever we post on the forum is free take. And...I don't really mainline. Just LST and topping. And now with the input of Green & Royal things have become more interesting yet.
So...yes and thanks and nice to hear from you. ( ps my husband freaks out whenever he sees a pile of leaves.." can't they be used?"..."they look so bare"....on and on. Just do the work

MNP interesting info on feed. Thank you and verifies my intuition. ( I have 3 cycles of stuff I don't need BUT pairing/paring down . What I really want is a THC tester for the bud...that works..any info on that in your science???

Well there is the MyDX (https://www.cdxlife.com/) but current reports suggest that users arn't happy with the devices accuracy. Also it's $700 and needs 6 monthly sensor swap outs.

There is also the tCheck (https://tcheck.me/) which is only $300 but it can only analyse oil infused with cannabis so you'd need to take a gram of material, infuse it into oil before you could test it.

From my perspective I'm glad to see these devices coming on the market, they may not quite be there now but it's heading in the right direction.
