This is my first grow and im not familiar with the type of deficiencies and diseases. Recently the leaf on the bottom turned yellow not long after that the new leaves grew half yellow half green. I tried to research the symptoms I couldn't find what exactly it was. Also, the growth has been slow.

As another old Jarhead, I agree with brother OJH100: Whatchoo growin' in? Adding 30% perlite (aka "per light" if you're dictating ) will really help drainage--it's a must-have. And you shouldn't be seeing a deficiency this early if your soil is good. Try Fox Farms or some other premium brand soil. Expensive but worth it.

haha never saw the per light just clicked on the spelling apparently my computer does not know how to spell perlite

Huzz: Have a look at the GWE main site here for the grow tutorials. They are excellent--best source on the web. https://www.growweedeasy.com/basics
It looks like you need better soil and better fertilizer for starters.

Yes, agree with comments above
What is the medium/soil that you are growing in? Potting soil? What brand? Or is it something else???
It looks awfully wet and appears to not be well aerated.
What brand of fertilizer?
Agree with DoctorJohnson that you should spend some time with Nebula's tutorials on GWE they will help tremendously
