SK#1.1 : PH 5.9 ppm 145 plant is green and healthy . Seems happy in its new home . Seed leaves have begun to drop a little . I would expect them to start to die off over the next week or so . Rest of the plant is standing nicely and is devolping ( slow but steady) temp and humidity within range . Increases nutes by 30 ppm

WW/SK#1.2 seedling are stilled curled up but seem healthy . Root growth visible out on rockwool ( WW only ) concerned about the curling possible due to light intensity but will continue forward as is.

Clip lights are cheap and leds inexpensive. 24hr light with those and they will get big fast.

It’s in my tent with the 600w hps and I know that it’s a lot of light for the seedling but my other option atm is outside and I don’t like that idea . I’m looking at getting a different lift for seedling but at the moment this is my option . It’s slowing down my plants growth some as my plant is putting a lot of energy into cooling itself and less in to growing outward but other then that I haven’t seen any issue. . Once it gets a little bigger the light will be less harsh on it and it will pick up speed I’m sure .

SK#1.1 : ph 5.7 ppm 108 roots growing about 3/4 inch out bottom of rockwool . Before it started rooting into they small net pot it was in 3” pot I think they are . I moved it to the big net pot ( 8in netpot lid for my 5 gallon buckets ) where it will remain permanently. ( I think I will forgo the small net pots all together and just use the 5gallon net pot lids as they sit well in the 2.5 gallon buckets ) will need to drill hole for air tube so the lid sits flat . Overall everything looks good . Still small but visible growth. Increased the ppm to 108 .

WW/SK1.2 : both seeds have sprouted and are growing well . Leaves are a little curly still but they are standing up nice and tall. will look at them again at 6 when my lights come back on but they are growing well and the WW already has roots exiting the bottom of the rockwool . Temp in dome: 77. humidity in dome : 67.

I turned the ac off when I was in the room and forgot to turn in back on . About 5 hours . My high temp and low humidity reflex the tent conditions after the 5 hours . Turns ac back on , everything in normal range since and before . Still within range but I though was worth noting .

Good idea in keeping them in the humidity dome to keep the humidity up. If you have little windows on the sides of the dome, close them up and the humidity should go up a bit more. Once they sprout, you can start opening up the windows a little each day until the dome comes off.

I’m working on the humidity issue . It’s a work in progress . It hasn’t die and that a positive. And two more will be popping up in a day or so . I think I’m going to leave them in the dome a bit longer tho because the humidity is more ideal for it .

Much better PPM numbers. If possible, try to raise the humidity up to the 50's in this stage. Good start.

SK#1.1: looks healthy and green ph 5.8 ppm 56 . Still in only to water . Ppm likely from the nutes on the clay pebbles and on air stones but doing well .

WW/SK#1.2 : both seedlings are through the rockwool . Barely but they are there . Still in dome awaiting root growth out of bottom of rockwool .

Oh for sure . Listen my first grow was in Florida dirt ( sand basically ) It was one plant in my closet. I just found it growing in one of my empty flower pots on my back porch ( where I smoked ) it was totally by chance . And I moved it to my closet. It had maybe an oz on it . It was so small maybe 20 inches total ( it was already in flower when I moved it . It was late in the year when I found it ) I spent maybe 30$ on some cfl lights and super cheap basic stuff like that and it only got tap water . But the cola on that thing was so dank . Taste was a little harsh but I was lit . If I got that from something that I put so little time and effort into that case from a bag seed I just tossed to the side . I can only imagine what the result of this effort will produce . The expense while high is worth it . And I have no doubt it will pay for itself in very little time . My 2nd grow was a little more planned out but still cfl and minimal expence and resulted in a few oz but still no where near the care and effort I’m attempting to put into this .Everything I have bought this time is going to be able to grow with me and incorporate it into my grow as it expanse . So at no point to I feel I’m wasteing any money . ( still hurts my brain though XD )

Hey DankweedDuck, yes indeed, it can get expensive really quick.
But that finished product, will make it everything worth it, when you fire up that first killer joint, that YOU grew. lol

I’m sure as I progress I’ll get better equipment . These where good to start. My whole build was on a budge and some parts of it reflect that . But it all seems to do the trick rn . And as I learn I felt it best to keep my coat as low as possible . If I start adding up the cost it hurts my brain XD just with the major items like nutes bucket system tentx2 light that’s like 600$ lol then everything else it get closer to that 800-1000 range lmao . ( I died a little in side as I did this math )

I agree with Cannabliss, on the cheap ph meters, they work fine sometimes, that's why you need to have 2-3 spare ones ,just in case.

I never used powders for calibrating my meters. I bought a 7.0 pH Calibration solution at my hydro store. Just dip your probe into the solution and calibrate it to 7.0. I do that once a week with my pH meter. For my PPM meter I bought a 1000 PPM calibrating solution and calibrate it once a month. Always calibrate your meters, always.That yellow pH meter you have looks very similar to the one I have. I bought mine on Amazon like 6 years ago, and yes, it's still working perfectly for me. I just make sure that the probe is always dipped in R.O. water. It was one of those cheap $15-$20 meter combos that came with both pH and PPM meters. The PPM meter unfortunately malfunctioned due to me accidentally dropping it into my reservoir lol. So I bought me a fairly good PPM meter at my hydro shop for about $30. Works like a charm. Just saying that you don't necessarily need to purchase those expensive meters from bluelab. Yes, they're very reliable and last a while, but so can a cheap one if you take good care of it and always keep the probe tips dipped in special solution or just plain R.O. water. Don't let the probes dry out. Those strips are ok, but time-consuming. Just sharing my personal experience with meters.

Those PPM's (400's) are still pretty high. Try to feed her lower doses of whatever nutrients you are giving her. Try to at least bring it down to 80-100 PPM.

By the way, what temps are you maintaining in the nutrient reservoir? You want to make sure they do not go over 70 degrees F. Doing so can bring root issues. I try to keep mines between 60-65.
