    Yellowing leaves with burnt tips?

hey, all! It's been a little bit for posting from me! My last grow was slightly disappointing as I let a hermie (bad one at that) continue to finish it's cycle.. buds were fairly airy and skimp. Anyways my friend gave me two of his plants that came from clones. And said he hasn't given nutrients since first week of flower. I'm on week 4 now.Not sure exactly the strain. One of the plant has yellowing leaves throughout the plant, yet when I have given it some fox farms trio nutrients it seems to maybe have made them a little bit more green but I can't say for sure. Mainly what I've noticed is still yellowing hue on the leaf edges and slight burnt tips on the leafs. I run 600w viparspectra led. With fox farms trio in fabric pots. Tent size is 2.5x 2.5 x 5. Water is phed to 6.5 ( the one pictre is my other plant right next to it (one with More green leafs)). So basically what I'm asking is. Do you think it is a deficiency and the burnt tips are effect of the deficiency? Or are the burnt tips effect of over nutrients? But at that rate would the leaves still not have changed? Also runoff ph at 6.5

How close is the light? Medium? Does look like a deficiency. Did you use the symptom checker?

I would give them a dose of epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) and micro nutrients (boron etc.)

Are micro nutrients different then the nutrients I am using by fox farm?

and yes, I did check the symptom checker but didn't see exactly what it looks like. I did read though if too much light it can get a "washed" looks and that describes t better than I could have. My friend who gave it to me was using a 1000w hps granted his bulb is old. Btw these plants are only 18" tall.. and my lights are currently sitting at around 18-19" away from canopy. Medium is promix soil with nutrients added in (he made his own soil in fear of fungus gnats from fox farm ocean forest.) it seems to have good results with no pests

I'm not a foxfarm user- but looking at the ingredients, shows it has needed micro nutrients.
I would follow the directions and do a foliar feeding of Tiger Bloom, which effectively bypasses any suspected pH issues and works quickly.

Someone else will have to comment on the light distance, as I use LED's- however anytime the plant is stressed with deficiencies- it's a good idea to back he light off until resolved!

Consider a mini flush, you may have salt build up slowing down uptake. Try slowly adding ph'd water all through the medium, until right before runoff. Wait 15 minutes and give them another shot of water at a faster pace until runoff. Maybe combine that with WP's advice to foliar feed. That way you flush the medium and still get nutes to the plant right away with the foliar feed. Then start adding your nutes back in next feed time.

              *bump*

i haven't fed it nutrients since the first time. It looks no better or worse then it originally did. Every time I water I feed to run of pure phed water, and no nutrients at all. Also have been giving foliar feeding with phed nutrients, and saw no results. So I really think it's light bleaching from my friend.. in that case my next question is. Since the plant has stopped producing leaves and almost every leaf on the plant is a washed looked does that mean the leaves are no longer photosynthesizing? (Because leaves have to be green to photosynthesize) does it mean my buds won't get much bigger at all for that reason? The only other thing is the buds don't look bleached or light damaged at all. They are just small dense popcorn nugs
