Anyone know what this disease is?

Hello, I have two plants around 5 weeks old and I fed them nuts two times so far. They are still in veg and one of the plant showed some burn long before I fed them for the first time. People said its burn from the soil and they told me to ignore it. I flushed the plant a couple of times and the burn still didn't healed. The other plant was perfect but today I saw some strange marks on a leaf and I wonder what this is. Anyone has some suggestions?

Have you ever checked your runoff pH. I bet its super high.

The first picture looks like something bit it or it got injured. No real disease on that one.

The second picture i cannot really tell. Is that the only leaf with that discoloration pattern or are there more?

The last 2 pictures do look like heavy nute burn. They wont heal, you can only try to prevent more from occuring. What type of soil are you in and what nutes did you feed with?

That is the only leaf with the discoloration pattern.

The pictures with heavy burn occured on a single plant despite the fact that I used the same kind of treatment to both of them. One of them developer perfectly and one has this marks of burn.

I used 7-3-6 veg nutes. Canna Terra Professional soil. (I had the "burn" even before first nutes feed).

Unfortunately I never checked PPM or EC, I have to buy a tester... Thanks for the replies.

You are going to want to get a kit or tester of some sort and check your runoff. Cheap aquarium kits work great in a pinch.

I would probably guess your rootzone pH is at 8 or higher. I have to put in 5.5 pH water to get my root zone in the correct spot.. It wont be exactly the same for you but usually soil buffers up. So if you start at 7 in you are going to get way higher out.

          What soil are you using?

I am using Canna Terra Professional Plus. So do you think I should add lower PH water? Or what do you think I must do to correct the problem?

once you get a way to test pH. Do a water only until you get some runoff and check it. Try putting in water that is 5.8 pH. Take some of the runoff and check it to see what your reading is.
