Defoleting

Week 3 of flowering stage,indoor.
I intend to cut down some of the fan leavs as well as some of the small branched at the bottom of the plant.
Any idea what precentege of the fan leavs I may remove,
without causing the plant too much stress??!

Papa, 30% to 50% would be fine. You just want to remove enough to open up bud sites and allow good airflow.

Ya, I generally do 30% or so. Mostly on the bottom third of the plant with a few big fan leaves removed in other places if there not on top and are blocking a bud site.

Ditto-I normally only remove fans that block interior bud site. Fans are the energy factories of the plant so unless they are blocking buds, leave em.
