    what makes seed choice

How do you decide what strains of seeds to order? I would like to hear from indoor and outdoor.

Hubby went to the nirvana site and clicked on medical. Then looked at symptoms strain was good for. Mostly pain and aid in sleeping. He bought one strain because of the listed happy, upbeat, energetic qualities.

I ordered Bubblegum auto (or bubblelious, I forget now) from Seedsman just because others were talking about it at the time. Liking the taste and smell, etc. And I liked the name. LOL

Depends on the high I'm looking for. If I want a uppidy head high and feel like doing things. I look for a Sativa strain. If I'm looking for a couchlock sit on my ass high. Then I lean towards Indica. I've been stuck on a Indica strain for about 2 years and now I'm looking for anything Sativa dominant.

My favorite Sativa strain now is Wild Thai it is pure Sativa and very potent. Easy to grow.

That's what I've done too. Indoors height is a big consideration. But I would like to try a sativa.

I enjoy having both sativas and indicas on hand for same reason Kingfish said . Like to research both for resin content/potency and yield.

I usually base this on the reputation of the breeder. There are lots of them....

                    Due diligence (research) is required...

Leafly is a good source to check what type of qualities you want in a strain. Just keep in mind, everybody is different and seeds have varying phenotypes which are influenced by your unique environment.

                    YMMV (your mileage may vary)

I look for the ratio of THC to CBD. As King said, the more sativa you have, the better for alertness and energizing, so it really does matter what you are looking for in the high. Medical applications may require more Indica with higher CBD to THC. There's so many choices out there...good luck!🌻
