Good morning folks and hope you are all okay. I have a question, recently at harvest I have taken to pulling the girls out of my tent and leaving them out and chopping/ harvesting over 1-4 days...it was to see what would happen. What I have found is that the strength seems to increase considerably. Now, the strain is a firm fav and one I grow often so I have a benchmark as to previous strength effects...it has noticibly happened when I did this. So, out of tent, sitting around near my work desk, lights on and off, heating on and off, up to 4 days post ready...is it a fluke or is this producing stronger results due to stress? Any thoughts would be appreciated It also feels slightly cured effects wise as well

Harvest and Stressing- A Question

Morning PaganRich, i know we will hear from some that dont think wounding -stressing a certain bud or two, helps to make it stronger, but I certainly think it does, alot.
All I do is almost break-bend a certain bud or two stems into, a couple of 2-3weeks before harvest, seems to me those several wounded buds are definitely stronger, but I'm no scientist, any way we have been doing this forever, an Will continue to do it. Even if some say it doesn't work.
I know I love looking at your plants, everyday, always a special flair about them.Cfls for a week or two

PaganRich, no, I don't have any pictures, but all you do is squeeze the stalk of the bud, that you choose, just don't cut if off, do just enough damage where the juices can still get thru, but when I do mine the buds I do are just hanging, but still alive.
If I remember right, I read along time ago about Nebula talking about this in one of her tutorials, it's really just high stress training, kinda, anyway, after you get used to doing it ,it's super easy to do, and I'm pretty sure your gonna notice it being stronger, better, even more trichs possibly. You ain't gonna hurt nothin, but the way it looks ,just hanging, looks kinda funny, but you want be laughing when you smoke it,
lol.
Ps, I just did some on my last plants, but I didn't take pictures of them, but on the one I got growing now, I'll take some pictures, when it's time.

DAAS-This is really useful info mate and I`m loving it but some questions...is this like supercropping where you wiggle the stem to break/ soften it and do you just leave the bud to hang downwards or support at an angle and what`s the closest to harvest have you done this? One other question, if it generates new trich won`t they be immature thus clear? Enjoying this topic loads mate

Splitting stalks and branches up to three weeks before harvest has always helped improve my buds quality, the stress helps improve the high. Lol
