So I have been watering every 2-3 days with bloom organic 1,5.6 nutrients in ff ocean/frog blend. They are close but I'm getting some serious brown leaves. Any ideas? Thanks

Hey smoke, can't see your plants very well in your pictures, because of the led light, Is it hard to take another picture in natural light?
What kind of light and how far away is it ?Cfls for a week or two

Maybe this is better a friend of mine who is a medical grower thinks my lights are way too close. His thought is late in flowering back the lights away.1 Photo

It's just hard to tell with light on honestly

Well if his title is right and its brown leaves and not bleached that would lean me away from light burn as well. But the top leaves do seem to be bleached around the edges while the bottom looks like phosphorous. Maybe theres is a correlation with light amount given and phosphorus uptake.

Are you giving them food every 2 or 3 days without water in between??

Yes half a gallon per plant with peak harvest bloom nutrients actually the numbers are 2-5-.2

You've probably got a severe lockout. Next time your plants are dry enough to flush you are gonna need to big time. 3 times the amount of water compared to the pots you are in. You need to get them nutes out of the medium or you are going to have a pretty badly hurt harvest.

Ya it's definitely lacking everything it looks like

So I just did 1.5 gallons spring water for each pot hoping to just finish strong with these girls. I guess I'll maybe hit with one more shot of nutrients high p-k in 3 days then that's all she wrote just water until the end. Unless you fellas have a different idea I'm a total noob in experience I've read so much but don't have the hands on experience that some do here. Thank you so much!

I have not done ph testing I've been using spring water Poland spring. how do you guys calibrate your ph testers? Easily every time you water!?

There is calibration solution you can buy.
Or if you can buy some r/o water to check if its correct. an open jug of r/o should read at 5.5 after its been open a while.
Or use drops or litmus strips and compare to your pen to see where you sit.
I calibrated mine once when buying it. Haven't had to recalibrate it in 4 months.

You could go with this it's as simple as it gets
General Hydroponics pH Control Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BNKWZY..._jGFKAbG9DT674
And reverse osmosis is the best with plantsLast edited by Deadhead91; 02-24-2018, 06:45 PM.
