That was a rude thing to say, DAAS.

Here's the link again if you'd care to learn rather than just make insults. tps://hannainst.com/ph-electrode-m...ibration-guide

All of your remarks, are rude, you act like your ways all ways right, an everyone else is wrong.
I've used a toothbrush dozens of times over the years on cheap ph meters, never hurt the first one.
You need to think a little ,before you put down everyone elses. Matter of fact I will never read your posts again.haha ,lol

I cannot fully recommend the above meter, but will tell you that I bought one identical to it for $13.99 on September 5, 2013. It is still working last i checked. I might pick up a spare for $7.75. Aren't the Chinese proletariat generous with their labors?

Those blue lab pens do look quite nice. How long do you find it takes to stabilize, one complaint I have with mine. It can take a minute plus. I usually just call it good after about 30 seconds as it typically will only move one point after that.

If speed is what you’re looking for the Blue Lab is not for you. I generally end up having to turn it back on at least once before I accept the reading but it’s accuracy and reliability are top notch.
Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!

That doesn't sound right. Have you tried having it serviced? When I took my pen in ti have it checked, they compared it with a ble lab that gave results fairly quick.

It’s been the same since day 1. I’m fairly certain there is nothing wrong with it, I notice that as it compensates for temperature it adjusts it’s ph reading. Calibration only requires about 10-15 seconds in ph 4.0 and 7.0 solutions and it’s never failed to calibrate so I trust the readings that it and my plants are giving me. Like I said, its accuracy and reliability are top notch and if they weren’t my plants would let me know.

I hear what you're saying. As long as we get the results we need, thats all that matters.

      > Haha I sense some animosity
Judging by the spelling and language usage in his posts, he's just feeling intimidated.

kinda pricey for the masses. i found this on ebay which should fit anyone's budget unless you're homeless. https://www.ebay.com/p/US-Digital-Ph...48870&thm=1000

            • I ordered a spare which is identical to the one I purchased five years ago. It works perfectly, and with free shipping has to be the cheapest pH meter going. $7.75

I'm with you Tika, I got the BlueLab and at a couple of drops at a time I think that I can live with ten bucks for a bottle of solution.

Yea..It's a good house pet😜 the reliability is a gift! The drops by GH are so subject to miss interpretation especially if your nutrients or additives have color...Like..Red and green does make brown! I quit them after adding Floralicious and molasses...No way ( I actually said f..k this!)
