Smoking while it cures

I’m just about out of bud from pre harvest and I’ve been dipping into the curing stuff and it’s fine to smoke (been holding at 61% in there for a bit over 2 weeks.). Is it ok to be opening and pulling from the cure jar several times a day or should I just take out a couple days worth at a time?

You might be overthinkin' it. If you're worried about throwing off the curing process by raiding the cookie jar too often, then yeah, grab what you need at the daily burping of the jars and leave them unmolested the rest of the time.

I was thinking from nebulas tutorial it said after a few weeks only burp every 3-5 days. I tend to overthink stuff figure if it’s sitting in the perfect environment already...

You are right locrian. Take out enough to last till next burp each time. This will also allow you to dry it a bit more so it’s perfect to smoke. Curing rh is a bit high to smoke right away It will burn smoodly around 50%rh

I did notice the burn seemed a bit slower, these particular buds are fairly dense as well. 38 grams of GC vs 30 of WW but around 50% volume.

Take it out daily as you want it. And keep in mind that the rest of it curing is only getting better with age.

I was doing the same thing ended up just grabbing another jar to smoke while I waited on the other jars to cure. It does get better four weeks is a good goal so another smoke jar to tie you over may be a good idea.

I have a small jelly jar I use for daily buds, the rest stays in quart jars. Works for me... 😁

Around my house, I got 7-8jars of the differant good stuff stashed, so my family want have to plunder around huntin for them.
I leave 3-4 jars half-ass, hiden ,so they can find those, an help themselves ,cause I help myself on theirs sometimes, but they better leave my good sh-t alone.
