How do you use great white?

Hey everyone! I've been using great white with my coco grows, and I always just add a half scoop of the scooper that comes with it to a gallon of water when I'm feeding. I mainly use this while they are in veg, and stop using it as much when they start flower.

Just curious as to how other people use it

Morning Mcubed476, How's it going this weekend ? I hope your family is doing well.
I used to use it in soil and in coco, but I can't swear it helped, that much, but I found another kind that damn sure works, an you can tell in 2days time or sooner, it's kinda expensive, but damn sure worth it.
How are your plants doing ? My RedPoison ain't even started flowering yet, day 42 but she sure slowed down her vertical growth, she's fix in too I think.
Did your RP keep growing taller after she started flowering? ? Mine's gettin kinda tall, I ain't got but 4-5 more inches to go or I'll have to buy another tent.

Hey daas! My weekend is going good, thanks for asking! It's actually my Friday right now, I have Monday Tuesday off. They did get a little taller when they started flowering, maybe you could use some lst to train them lower.

My plants are looking good, I'll have an update sometime tomorrow!

Your red is looking great by the way!

I personally use it every other week from start to finish. I even sprinkle a bit of it just below the taproot when I transfer from the paper towel method into the rockwool. I stop using it two weeks before the flush. Again, this is just me.

Thanks for the input! It's nice to hear how people use it differently. I'm sure I'm overdoing it using it with every watering (about every 2 days), but the 4 oz jar on Amazon will last through a whole grow this way for me, and I don't mind spending $25 every couple months on it. I may cut back though and see if it affects the plants differently!

No problem. The reason I only use it every other week (I feed my plants weekly) is because Microbes have a 2 week life span.

mcubed, I use it in hydro. It's pricey: are you sure you're supposed to use half a scoop per 1 gallon H2O? I use half scoop for 8 gallon reservoir.

Cubed, there's a lot to keep in mind, not the least of which is the time of year. But also super important: STRAIN, as you know. Not only strain, but I have often seen one phenotype grow totally different from another phenotype. On my last grow, I had a Black Domina who got so tall, and on this grow, she is a tiny little thing.

As you observe, you changed your nutes. I did what you are talking about over the weekend: I sat down with my journal from the last grow, and looked at how I used the nutes at what grow stage of the plants. I had a wee tad of nitrogen toxicity show up on one plant, and I discovered that I'd gone higher with my nutes than previously.

So many different factors can contribute...

Hey Mcubed476, that cold weather is the culprit, it's hard as hell to grow MJ in the wintertime less you got everything perfect. An that's almost impossible less you got the big bucks, I know I ain't.
If yours don't look good like always, I'm blaming cold weather, just look at some of these latest grows on here, they has been some pretty ones, but not near as many as last spring, they was some monsters grown then.
But hear lately they been a bunch weak, stunted looking ones.

Think about putting your pots on germination pads to supply warmth to the roots; it's a cheap and effective aid in the winter.
