    Low Stress Training Help

Am I doing this correctly? Plants are 3 weeks old. How long am i supposed to leave them like that? Do I give them a break and move them straight up for a little?

hey Boof no breaks in fact the idea behind what you are doing is to make the plant think it lost its top kola so it tries to grow a new one on every side shoot have you read the tutorials on lsting
new grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds

      Agree with @oldjarhead100
Do not release them, they are your prisoners now! Your goal is keeping them as flat and horizontal as possible.
Be sure to follow the LST tutorial, where Nebula takes you through both theory and method: http://www.growweedeasy.com/low-stress-training-lst
And feel free to keep asking questions!

Should I never remove the ties and leave them flat until its time for harvest?

You may need to adjust the ties and re-position them as the plant grows.
It all depends on what shape you are trying to achieve. What size footprint and how tall do you hope the plant will be at harvest?
