    flouresent light- blue spectrum

I started a few seeds and all 3 germinated. Put them under my flouresent t 5 lights as usual except 2 of the 4 light bulbs were blue as apposed to white. The leaves started yellowing and turning upwards. Question, Are the blue spectrum lights not good for young seedlings? Anyone have experience with this problem?

I run my blue leds full bore from seed. I dont see any reason this should hurt. Might start looking elsewhere for your issues. Maybe just lights a little too close.

It sounds like you have done this before.

Unlike the above comments, I would suggest that if the only difference between your successful grows, and this grow, is the 'new' type of bulb, I would go back to the white (which have plenty of blue in them). my 2c
          completed 7 grows
what I have learned so far:
          environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

That is what I did and the new growth already looks better after only 2 days. Thanks guys! Maybe I will switch back to blue during flowering. What do you think?

Blue in flower wont help much. Red is needed in flower my friend.

*Blue will assist in fattening the flower, Red will be the main for creating/ripen the trichoms.
