Grow journal grape ape, sour d, big dirty #2

    Grow journal
So here I go peeps, first grow journal and first grow really but long time thc lover and 20+ years as a pro gardener in the pacific nw. State licensed medical grow op.
I started this thing in July with 2 other guys(1 of them had the knowledge, I didn't), didn't work out between us, lost our first crop to every freaking pests on the market so flying solo now with the web and my experience as side kicks. Never ending thanks to you 2!
    The ladies.
6 grape ape clones, 1.5 months into veg, going into flowering mid Decemberish.
2 sour diesel clones, 1.5 months into veg, will go into flowering mid February when the apes are done. Yes they will be really big by then!!!
and 1 big dirty #2 non feminized seed, jury still out on gender, 1.5 months into veg., if it's a female going into flowering same as sour d, if male ... well you know what happens to them...
Also in process of cloning more ape. All plants are in a mix of ocean forest soil(2parts) and coco coir(1part).
    The set up.
10x15 fully insulated shed, gravel floor covered with thick construction liner to keep dust down and moisture from rising.
Both room are fed fresh air via 4 can fans(6"each, 2 exhausts ans 2 intakes) and are monitored with a Saturn 5 controller and a 70 pint dehumidifier. Right now both rooms are "together" since everyone is vegging. Black visqueen will separate them when 12/12 happens.
Day temps between 75 and 82
Night temps between 66 and 75
    Rh between 45 and 60.
Room #1: t5 lights (12 bulbs total) and I ground fan.
Room #2: 2x 1200w viperspectra led, 4' t5 bay(8bulbs) in between leds, 8' long t8s to cover edges of grow space. 2 ground fans, 1 fan chest high, 1 oscillating fan above them all.
All the plants are set on cinder blocks to allow airflow below and are in a constant breeze.
And I play music for them and myself every time I work in there. Hell yeah!
    Enough yapping, now the goods.

I wish they would have been thoughtful enough to to name it compulsive disorder obsessive,(so the letters are in the right order).

    Cool setup. Nice scrog rack!

You seem to be dialed in and by the looks of the plants, it is evident!

      Thanks!
Yeah almost wrote something about the spaghetti factory going on, worked on it a little since taking that pic...I think...
I think I got the veg down( not much different from my "real" job), the latter part might require you guys expert advice.
i started them with minor pruning, except big dirty that got topped.
then light training for a few weeks to open up the crow and get the growth away from the center and flatter. Letting them grow up now until they reach the net.
only removed lower branches and inside small growth to help air flow.

I had a community college classmate who was (still is) Polish. Nikola Tesla is their national hero. Monika would go OFF disputing the basis for Polish jokes, and refer to Tesla as proof that Poles are smart.

Thanks all for the good words and vibes ! I'm definitely super excited about my island in the sun. Yes there has been close calls of self strangulation recently, most of the hanging spaghetti are the extra cords from the light hangers. The guilt and shame are too overpowering ill tame the cord rebellion asap!

Thanks wattze! I find plants easier to deal with than people for some reason! Gotta love the free states, presently in Oregon and loving it!

my personal preference for "dealing with": (1) dogs; (2) cats; (3) pretty much any other non-human animal; (4) plants; (5) people.

                  Wallets are ridiculous.
just changed from 18/6 back to 24/0, felt they were just not perky enough but didn't want to burn them by getting the leds closer. Couple of leaves showing curling this am any suggestions?

I get that curling also..even as I speak and seems more with LEDs
Personally I think it is because of being cold as when the day progresses and tent warms up evenly..they perk back up.
Could be totally wrong. And if it really bothers me I pluck that leaf...
Will be interesting to hear from the crew on this

I do 24/7 as well but I prefer to veg under T5s even tho my LEDs will do veg only as well as flower which is both switches.

Interesting you said this, my leds also have that switch but that particular plant is actually straight under the t5 bay that's in between the leds. And couple leaves only so far are curling...but medicated a little too much last night so brain not fully functional yet...
