Hey bob thanks for stoping by again! I don't know yet if I'll do another journal. It's been great for me but the interest it generated here has become very spotty. I never really looked into what a proper journal should be like so maybe I'm not doing it right or most likely over posting about my ladies! Can't help it I'm in love! Plus my busy season is around the corner so I'd hate starting one and running out of time to finish it. We shall see.

Couple pics of those knuckles on my veggers. I am now a believer and slightly addicted to the process as well 😋

Sturdy stalk through grow should eliminate the need of it...

I'll need it for the next one, they're already 5' tall, they'd grow in the leds...
so total weight with branches and wet buds is at 7lbs! Maybe 1.5+Lbs of dried buds?

Here ya go!!!! That was epic trimming!! I started the day with a bad back and the session didn't help at all, many hours spent cutting but the scissor hash did wonders afterwards!! If that smoke was any indicator, high as a kite and back pain gone. I'll write down a full report soon about the yays and nays of this adventure, I got plenty of ideas for improvement. But for now the warrior needs his beauty sleep. Cheers!

Very nice grow, and very nice grow journal! I just happened to find it and read through it this morning, and I got learned as much as you harvested, and I'm inspired. Thanks to you and your many mentors.

Well this is it for this journal after today. It's been fun, it's been real and would have been impossible without the usual suspects, the green, royal, insomn, king, pharma, bob and weasel but also anybody else who chimed in to offer their opinion and advice, and my buddy who stopped by the shed to offer his 2 eyeballs as well. But above all, my wife for her unconditional support and help. To all of you an enormous thank you! This adventure was supposed to be a group one when I started, found myself having to learn a lot really fast after a few months and I'm just glad I stumbled upon this community, the help, love, respect and willingness to share have been astounding and quite honestly unexpected. Long live GWE!
                    Now back to this journal...

ill try to go over the goods and the bads of the last 4 months.
There were 6 plants Grape Ape indica, vegged for 2 months, flipped on 12/4, harvested on 1/28, 56 days in flowering total. Scrog was about 5'x8'.

With that many plants the yield is obviously in need of improvement.
Problems that were and solutions to follow. In the hope of increasing purple color on the buds I followed the advice of dropping night temps...except I should have done it the last week and not a month into it. Temps went down to 56 a few nights because of this and I think it stunted the growth. I won't worry about this in the future, purple or no purple...not to be done again.
i need more led power for a scrog this size. Money, money....
the addition of cfls towards the end helped i think. I had placed them to help the dark corners.
no foliage shall be left bellow the scrog. You guys all told me to but I got greedy and wanted ALL the buds! After yesterday's session my shoulders call bs on that idea, it will be a barren land below the net. It'll be all legs and knuckles under...and big bums above!
i also think I should have left them fill up the net a bit more before flipping the switch.
oh almost forgot no bud blood on the next round, not sure of the need or efficiency of the product, it boosts P&K like crazy but it also stunts the stretch so until I know my strains a lot more I'll go the "natural" stretch way for a while.

Now on the other hand I feel I did really well on just about every other aspect. My feeding went well, no N toxicity, no waste either. there was a mishap with ph which almost cost me a lady but she bounced back. I wasn't properly equipped for reading ph so had decided to not worry about it! Great idea right?! NOT! Ph important. Period.
My defoliation is still not up to speed, timing and quantity are the essence, practice makes perfect.
i had a small thrip contingent trying to stick their flag on my roof for a while but while I think they still have sleeper cells somewhere inside i feel that victory is mine. No more damage shown in either room for many weeks now.
Recognizing the fact that this time of the year the weather here is perfect for growing indoors, i did well on the pest front. I know have a wide range of natural pesticides on hand and will be ready when they return.

i have refused to look at the electric bills this adventure have generated, i am told they are high, mostly likely some propaganda campaign from my commander in chief, I will not fall to these most likely false claims, truth, love and honesty will always be stronger than lie, hate and deceit.

This grow is dedicated to all women in this world, especially my commander in chief, she's super badass too!

Thanks for reading and supporting! See you around for the next journal maybe, I'm told I have to do it.

Report from the trenches. I just smoked a pop corn bud I had set aside on Saturday. Well, I'm pretty freaking happy with it, not gonna lie. The flavor is there for sure, don't know if it's quite grape but definitely fruity on the first inhale. The high is reminiscent of a 10 ton truck on its way to the runaway ramp. It took about 2 minutes before eyelids went heavy on me and there's this weight on the back of my neck too, full indica hit no doubt. That's what I aimed for so yeah for me! I'm just glad I'm done with the day and my only obligation is to watch Star Wars with my other apes.
i plan on chiming in with full dried and cured weight and hopefully numbers in the near future. As always thanks for reading!
