    Defoliation

Just wanted some opinions on how long i should wait to switch to flowering after defoliating.

    #2
I've been reading about defoliation and some recommend waiting until a couple of weeks into flower to defoliate. I'm not there yet on my grow, so I don't have any first-hand experience yet.

I'm the same as St.Bud's, if the plant is healthy there's no stopping it.

If you have a healthy plant, take what you plan on and flip the light. If you're second-guessing it take what you need and wait a couple days then flip the switch, the key is a healthy plant and not over cutting your plant so bad it harms it's growth.

I find a great balance in the three week rule for next removal of leaf. The one's left and the one's that will grow will be the proper balance of foilage for photosynthesis to develop your buds sites.

Yes mr furley! Im so excited, this is my first legit grow. Put alot of time, effort and care into this. Of course with help from you daas and the others on this forum, it really has made a difference for me in terms of teaching me things i need to know as well as giving me the confidence to feel like i can do it.
Daas, thank you. Hope you had an awsome christmas.
