Went to check in the ladies a couple nights ago and noticed some odd browning, not sure if it’s nute burn or a potassium deficiency? Or something else? Went through the pics of plant problems and am just not sure. Any ideas?

Recent change added open sesame to nute line up. Fed twice. I’m using The fox farms trio, cal mag, open sesame in fox farms happy frog. Ph going in I have fluctuated a bit between 6.4 and 6.9, last two feedings have been closer to 6.9. Run off has been pretty steady at 6.6. I did spray azamax 5 days ago, spinosad 8 days ago, and neem oil about 11. Water rotation is nutes and cal mag, and then just cal mag next watering. Rotating.Last edited by Locrian99; 12-09-2017, 12:53 AM.48”x48”x80” flower/main tent

Have you had a bad infestation problem? That seems like a lot of spray on the leaves in a short period to me. That could literally be burn from the spray.
Did you do each spray at lights out? Pooling at the leave tips with the light on them could possibly cause that.
Could just be some burn from too large of a dose of the open sesame. Since thats the newest thing to your lineup and the only recent change.
Have you upped any of the other nute amounts? Could be it.

I always sprayed right before lights out the azamax I actually put the plants back in the tent after the lights were out. I had/have spider mites. As far as the open sesame I decreased the rest of the nutes to 1/4 strength from 1/2 on the gorilla glue (later pics). First pics have stayed st 1/2. I did give the open sesame at the strength listed to give with nutes. 1/4 tsp/gallon, next feeding I think I’ll do more like 1/8tsp.48”x48”x80” flower/main tent

Hmm seems out of all the options it just could be that little bit too much first round.
Or maybe you were right when you said potassium. Maybe backing off the 3 part reduced too much of the needed potassium intake.

Well it’s on the plant I gave 1/2 to as well different strain. Just debating whether or not to flush...
-
Maybe a little nute burn? I wouldn't flush yet, but let's see what others say. So your using cal/mag every watering? You know you can get too much cal/mag also right ? Not saying thats whats wrong just thinking out loud. Pictures in natural light would be of more use.

Here are pics in natural light. Reason I didn’t think nute burn asyou can see it’s not necessarily the tips.6 Photos48”x48”x80” flower/main tent

Morning 99, Have you got fans blowing on em? If not, i still can't see the color green very well, in your pictures ,but them clawing leaves is a sign of nitrogen toxicity.Cfls for a week or two

Yes I have two fans going an oscillating fan that is blowing under the canopy and rotations and a clip fan that’s blowing canopy level. I’ll back off on the nutes, think I should go for a little more run off with the next couple waterings? Or skip nutes altogether for a watering or two? Guessing that full dose of open sesame along with cal mag build up is to blame...
-
I'd back off the fans a little bit too, all you want is a slight breeze blowing on em, not to much breeze, just a gentle movement of the leaves as the fan goes by.To much breeze can cause them clawing leaves too.
Your plants gonna be fine, long as you got your ph in right.

Ya, plenty of nutes, it's not a deficiency as the new growth is a nice dark green ( maybe too green?). The new growth looks good for the most part but there is something like a little burn. Maybe toxicity ( too much) like D.A.A.S 69 said. Id back off the cal mag and lighten up a little on nutes. On an upnote your plants look pretty healthy 😊
