hey Johnny the PH in Coco is supposed to be 5.5 to 6.5 same as hydro, Some coco has not been washed and has a higher than normal ph, Take a handful of fresh coco and put it in water stir then test that water if ph is different then you will know its the coco, If it is the coco you can flush it to lower PH good lucknew grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds

I'll catch flak for this I'm sure. Why measure plant shit? I only check runoff water if I have an issue. Even then I always wonder why I did. There are only a few solutions to problems and none of them change for me.
I always Ph 6. Flushing, feeding, watering...its all the same. You only need to decide which of the three to do. I've never fixed a problem based on Ph of runoff. I have seen plenty of folks stress their health plant responding to nonexistent issues because run of was not some artistry number.
You really have no way of knowing what nutrients your plant will or will not use at an given time. The FF directions and feeding schedule as well as flora nova say so as well.
Again, I'm sure a host of contrarians will follow this post, so I'm going to unfollow it. Break legs!

That makes sense laughing budda my plants are doing well other than alittle tip burn which was my fault it freaked me out to see the runoff test high I didn't know if it was a problem waiting to happen I'm on a feed water feed schedule with 20 percent runoff to prevent salt buildup 6th week of flower and they are loving life thanks for real information

One thing I do agree on is everyone grows different, that's for sure.
I like to keep my ph run-off where it's supposed to be, either coco or soil, where your plant can uptake the nutrients, I don't know how long your run off has been that high , but I bet your buds would be much larger right now if your run-off had been right the whole grow.
Like I said, everyone grows different.

When the pH is coming out too high for me in coco, I just give them water mixed up to 5.5 pH until the runoff pH started coming out in the 5.5-6.5 range. It can take a few waterings if it starts out really high. If you don't see nutrient deficiencies, you probably don't need to try to change the pH quickly. If you're noticing tip burn, you could also try reducing the amount of nutrients you're using slightly, as the tip burn likely means the plant is getting more nutrients than it can use.
From the picture, your buds look great so far, and developing nicely for just week 5!
