SOIL: Do you give Veg plants any nutrients?

    Hey all,

I'm starting my second round of plants, they are currently in Week 3, The were transplanted into 1 gallon pots just about 1 week ago. I've noticed their growth to be on the slower side so far which is surprising considering the new bigger pots. Is there some kind of ORGANIC nutrient I can supplement them with beyond what is in my super soil?? Should I even bother? Its also worth noting that I DO prepare a BOOGIE BREW tea for my plants generally every 2 weeks, is this alone enough to promote stronger, faster growth?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome HIonCANNABI420, if you have super soil I don't think you're supposed to give anything. if you just transplanted in your plants are smaller than the pot they're trying to establish routes and will slow with growth for a minute

OK. Yea I was basically trying to deviate slightly from procedures of my last grow, for experimental purposes. but only if it would be beneficial. and HEY, im not looking to spend unnecessary money either on nutes!

Thank for your input Mr. furley!

If you made up you soil correctly ,you want need any nutrients. But if you are watering to runoff very often you will need some nutrients cause you have washed all the nutrients out.
General Hydroponic go box is good if you need to buy some. Good Luck

      DAAS,
I generally water JUST before runoff, or there is very little runoff, specifically to combat losing precious nutrients. Thank for the input!

A week of acclimation after transplanting seems reasonable. You should be good with the tea.

Those teas kick that supersoil right in the butt, they love that tea, but I never used it every watering.

From the grower who introduced me to the tea, his suggestion, and how I've done it so far, is to brew a full strength and then dilute 4:1. i go stronger should i see fit. In doing that it at least gives you the option to water weekly with the tea.
