I usually work with seeds that come from seed bank and I know what to expect. Also, I'm an indoor grower because I live in a state that has denied me the legal right to grow a plant. Someone gave me some seeds that I know nothing about. I germinated 9 seeds and planted them outside in my vegetable garden in June - only one was female. In July and August, temps are mostly over 100 degrees. I didn't expect she would survive the heat but she thrived, and she has been in flower about 10 weeks. The pistols are just beginning to turn brown but trichs are all clear - so she's still got 2-3 weeks to go, I think. The buds are already so big and heavy, I'm having trouble keeping them upright. The colas are over 2 ft long.
She developed bud rot a month ago when we had a lot of rain. I cut away 20-25% of the plant and place a fan in the tent. I'm pretty sure I stopped the progression and will be able to save the rest of the plant. Yeah! This could easily be a pound of bud after harvest, curing and drying.
