I've heard some conflicting data regarding edibles and whether or not the effects you get from smoking a traditional sativa transitions to edibles. Likewise for indicas. I can't remember exactly, but I recall hearing on a podcast that edibles are processed by the liver and converted into a specific form of thc. The traits that make a sativa uplifting or an indica couchlocky don't transfer when eaten. (Yes I said couchlocky)
I've also heard that these traits do transition over but I haven't heard any evidence to really back it, other than subjective opinions.
I dont have much experience with edibles, but I'd like to learn more about them and incorporate them into my treatments.
Thouhts?

. Clear your schedule, surround yourself in your happy place and try them starting with really small doses and wait 2 hours before you take anymore. It is easy to think after one hour this isn't working and take more - big mistake with sativa maybe paranoia, psychedelic, racey; with indica you usually just wake up the next day with a Sharpie mustache and big eyebrows or was that just me? Keep a written record of how much you took and how you responded to the dose. It won't take long to figure out what works for you.
