    55 DAY Question

I have been reading and something dawned on me! If you have a strain that states "8 week flower time" but no longer than 55 days. And the plant is weepy and ready to harvest, at what point during the 8 weeks of nutes should have a FLUSH began? Or would you continue a flush after the 55 days when it was ready. Any longer than the 55 day mark you can see the amber take over, not cool.
SO again during the 8 week flower period , would you Flush in the 7 or 7.5 week or after? Or not at all, and just chop at 55 if ready for it?

Good questions btw. I believe whenever they say "8 weeks of flowering time, but no longer than 55 days", they're just saying "roughly" 8 weeks. However, whatever time they say, you basically flush before the 8 weeks are up. For example, in soil, you flush between a week to two weeks or so before the 8 weeks are up, but in hydro you flush for about 3 to 4 days. But it really comes down to the trichomes. If the majority of the trichones are "cloudy" or "foggy", then that's when the THC is most potent and you can start flushing. If you wait a bit more and the tips of the trichomes start turning amber-ish, flush, but then you'll get a more "chill" effect.
