Here is what is left of my POG: Two white widows and a little cannatonic (right front). I removed the others to make room primairly for the WW, who was such a good girl the first time I grew her in this claustrophobic little box.
Lesson learned: TOPPING REDUCES PLANT HEIGHT!!! My POG as a single-cola grow is pretty much a failed experiment, although the cannatonic is behaving. WW wanted to take over the world so I let her (2 of em, actually), because it was such fckn awesome weed from the first grow.
Changed res this morning: WW will harvest before cannat., and they've got at least 3 more weeks to go... Live and learn!!!!! Life long learning is the goal!!!1 PhotoLast edited by alltatup; 10-21-2017, 06:15 AM.

I'll bet you miss them like crazy. Yes, I guess I could try that instead of the stemectomy...

wow did they get big in a short time, I have a friend who bends his to the point of breaking them and then leaves them that way when his get to close to the lights, I cant wait to see how much my girls have taken off

Hey ATU I got the dimible one so if I have another tall grow I can turn it. Down to not burn like the last grow . Also had long stretch with last one and I can turn up the white "I think" to bush it out . The last stretch I had the 300 vipraspectra about 8 inches away and still stretched so bad I had to prop it up . So trying what I can to get a seed to start short and not burn with tall colas . Great hearing from all here again .

Maybe a smaller root environment next time? Like a smaller res or grow them in separate solo cups with coco so they don't have the potential to explode on you. I'm just spit ballin here. At least they look really healthy and green!

Bummer! I have some foxtailing going on with one of my girls because the lights were too close. Hope your stemectomy goes well!

Have you thought about the mainlining/manifolding technique for the next time around maybe?

The POG is becoming the BOG: beanstalks of green.
I grew two of these strains in this box before--the Black Domina (left front) and the WW (in the rear)--, and both have stretched much more this time. The Diamond Cookies (in the middle) is a sativa-esque snake that I had to do some serious tying down on, and the only one behaving herself is the common-sense, CBD-rich Cannatonic on the right in front. I think the other four are going to outgrow the box. These have been much more vigorous growers than the first batch in this box; somehow, I stunted the first batch, and they stayed short.
I was contemplating them the other day and wondering whether I could perform a stemectomy, and cut away a section of the stem and connect the top growth to the shorter bottom, but it sounds too frankenstein-ish for me to try. They may just grow straight into the carbon filter and light; I don't know what I'll do... Perform the horrific stemectomy...
I'm coming to the conclusion that the micro-grow I was hoping for needs to be with clones that are put directly into flower when put in the box. But I don't have a clone set-up so I'ma have to figure out how to exploit this little box to its best advantage. It would probably be very good for training some bushy indica-dominant strain, but I get such a kick out of growing various strains at the same time, I don't know if I could limit myself to one plant in there. What a waste of fun!!!!2 PhotosLast edited by alltatup; 10-04-2017, 05:08 AM.
