ID:	127048 I took these with iphone; the glare is the bright light, and there it is!!! In SC, we got to see the total eclipse, but I couldn't get a picture with my stupid phone. It was splendid.

          It got down to a sliver here. I took a couple of pictures but that was the most crisp.

            Those are some much better pics than I took. We were supposed to have 80% coverage over here. My wife wanted to get the glasses, and I said we can just use our phones on selfie mode. We were outside the whole time and the sun never looked like it got covered at all. It got a little darker over here, but nothing crazy.

            Later on we discovered that if you had the glasses, a welders helmet, or something to block out the brightness of the sun, you could totally see it. We felt very foolish lol

              Yes I bought a piece of welders glass and it was magnificent. Then we didnt need it for the total exlipse, which lasted 2-3 minutes. I am marked for life by this experience.
