Good historical day Morning IG!

yea baking was a two day process. Normally not a cookie baker but had to make sureI didn't run out of gifts. I don't do edibles- too strong and unpredictable for me. My tincture really thumped me last week too. LOL
Heading off to work. I suspect there will be a variety of strange going on all day.

Weirdness in my corresponding tech: I get notices on my cell that there is a like or a comment. I go to ipad and go to forum and comments are not listed on a regular basis now in messages. The only thing I have changed in my privacy is that only members can view - I found myself places I d rather not be (due to stupidity) . So now after seeing on cell that there are comments or likes-I have to go to my own Topic page to read them-don't always see them in messages. And they are out of sequence...time wiseWTF?

9/2/17 13 days into the flower tent
HEAT WAVE here! Over 100 , 115 minutes away! I suspect I will have a true cargo of seeds this grow. Tent hit 91.
Unable to wait for Nebula’s 3 week after flip defoliation- I defoliated today.
Poor God bud has HUGE fan leaves and very few little ones.
Her stems are dynamically vertical-If I didn’t bend some of them LST they would all be thick, straight up, (nearing plant porn here), but with very few buds. As strange as she is-everyone loves her toke
Blue cheese 1 is hogging the tent-she takes up one light for herself and needs to be fed every second or third day-pain in the butt. (the other Blue cheese went outside with the little Afghan K.)
Outdoor plants are fine and vibrant-again I don’t have much hope for yield but they are so HAPPY OUTSIDE-different indeed then indoor..including leaf hoppers. Just feed them what the tent gets.
Tho I have not had any obvious problems with electricity other than the cost into 4^th year of growing-I hired an electrician to come and “check my shit”. Replaced tent outlets and veg outlets and 4 smoke alarms. Also had the circuits measured and I am doing fine. Just needed a bit more restful sleep.

@Beach_Town_Brit and I with our significant others and our dogs- met mid-way once again for “lunch” even tho it was 111 degrees!

I must say I realllllyyyy enjoy (love) our meeting up, we include forum members in our thoughts and conversation, discuss dialects-like why is a trunk (of a car) called a boot but then the one with proper English has to weather California Poddy Mouth, talk growing of course and anything else that fits in between like what seems never to be a complete sentence or a finished idea - all is delightful and wonderful. Wish you could have been there forum family.
A photo of our backsides for obvious reasons but very big grins on the other side .

Also made my first batch of coconut infused oil chocolates. Still waiting for the critique on them-I know they taste nasty!

Cooling down a bit- I smell like weed & sweat. Need to bathe and cool the dogs. Then I will smell like dog bath. Then I will bathe. BET you are happy I SHARED that arent ya!!!!!

Yeah, it's toughing waiting 3 weeks and watching fan growth exploding and covering up bud sites. I see Nebula's flower stage defoliation tutorial as a guideline. You still need to do what's best for your plants growth pattern and environment. Looking great! Be interesting to see how your outdoors plants do too.

The weather out her fortunately is pretty predictable. 2 weeks in july it gets bad, hot and humid, then of course there's the season that shall not be named.

I would love to meet fellow members. I'm a transplant. I moved to norcal from socal 25 years ago but still visit a few times a year. Lots of friends and family down there.
I've surfed from Half Moon Bay to halfway down the Baja coast. I've even tried surfing the Isle of Wight when I was a kid on vacation lol. Sorry I'm rambling...
Anyways sounds like a great time with good folks.

I love it when you love it if I get seeds..too bad. We rarely ( not forecasting the future) get above maybe 80. I live In Sweats and hoodies, when it hits 70 I have A pair of ( long) shorts. Plants fed, tent wide open, dogs bathed and cooled down waiting for my turn transformer blew across the street..sounded like god sucked out my garbage disposal when I was feeding..scary.
You know what happens when bivalves hit desert heat?????
They turn into fucking fossils!!!!

lady, i do sincerely hope that we can meet sometime face to face. once i get a home locked down and the dust from this 5 year shit storm settles, i will be in a position to actually be social again if i remember how!! theres a few of you id really like to meet up with, smoke bowls and yuck it up for sure.

Morro Bay is where I had my first close encounter with a stingray. First time I was scared in the ocean.

The Back bay has manta rays, sand sharks. Morro can be a tough ride for sure...then there are great whites, seals and strange jelly fish. I don't body surf any more ( obviously) lost my bottom half and ate sand at Huntington Beach. Did learn to swim & ride waves in Santa Crusz .back WHEN they had beauty pageants / miss America on the pier/ boardwalk...like 1955-58 or so.

Obviously? I dont see what you mean in the picture above. Everyone looks to have the necessary equipment to body surf. I tell you what...growing up surfing socal warm water, then moving up north was a real shock. Cold ass water in Santa Cruz.!

WELL...too late to catch up on Journal #4 so will just proceed with a few mentions:
Grew two extra plants I had outside; Afghan kush and Blue cheese. The indoor Blue cheese was dumber than a sack of hammers - the outdoor turned out fine cept for WPM which I arrested. The Afghan kush outside was OK except for inch worms which I didnt see til harvest (gak!) . Gorilla cookies rocked big time inside. Consistent form and yield in three plants. Had one Critical indoors too-not big yield but fragrant as all get out. The one God bud-kept her strange. Continued to grow new fingers ontop of other fingers on major fans (thanks for that article Nebula and Sirius).
This was for some reason a hard grow...partly that the 7 plants in the tent were tall and heavy and the Skinny Blue cheese pissed me off in the sublime environment in the tent.
Have 8 in veg for the indoor tent now (details later) and 5 to consider for outside. Due to our moisture am and pm I am pitching a little greenhouse, got dollies to roll in and out depending on the weather.
Learned how to make "Lollies" (thank you @Beach_Town_Brit) and Gummie Bears-all were from hash. (New hash press came as I gifted my last to a friend as a bribe to help me do the next shake which will be formidable ). Also made some chocolates, had a birthday, Cymbidiums are starting to bloom, and really missed the forum...helllloooo out there-I missed you!

Hey Tika, did you end up sticking to the flower defoliation plan on any of your plants? Mine got too bushy too fast and we ended up defoliating weekly the first three weeks of flower.

Sheesh. Hi there! I was wondering how you were handling the defol plan. Basically I did do the defol plan BUT with a bunch of plucking in between. Trying to uncover bud sites as they develop and leave enough leaves for energy is daunting. plus looking down the top of the plant there was always something to pluck.to further confuse me my God bud kept growing new fingers on top of her other fingers on already fat leaves. So short answer is no keeping leaves from overlapping, exposing bud sites, and air flow thru the plant just kept me plucking away.
Dod you notice any benefits from at least trying to follow the plan?

Not sure if we really benefited from it TBH. All my grows seem to be tight and bushy and require a lot of defoliation. If Nebula asked me "did you follow the tutorial", I would have to say no. We went from defoliating twice a week during the stretch to once a week during the stretch. Does that count? lol. That bud shot above is gorgeous btw!
