    Can this product be used for PH UP? Didn't buy nor used was wondering before I did buy. Not sure if it does the same thing

        I'm pretty sure you can use baking soda. You wouldn't want to use it long-term but I think it's OK to use until you can get something specifically made for gardening, like Earth Juice.

      I also read that you can use lemon or lime. Is this accurate?

        That would be to lower the pH; baking soda raises it.

        Depends on how acid your water is to start with. I would recommend taking a reading, adding just a pinch, taking another reading, and go from there. You don't want to overshoot your target pH by adding too much at one time.

        I've used it in a pinch, just until I got my normal stuff. Worked fine for me, didn't seem to bother the plants.

      Try a pet store if your in a pinch,they have a bunch of water treatment product for fish tanks or Wait a day and get the right stuff. Or google how to adjust ph with baking soda

        MattL I got lucky and found the ph test kit at the local tractor supply company. Ph is now 5.6 and 5.7.

                  depends on what you're growing in? soiless or coco you're in an ok range, but soil you want to get close to 6.5. check out the link i posted above
