Is what normal? It looks fine to me but you might want to get your light closer to help stop that stretching...

And i have an old small pot filled with coco nd perlite i just give it water so i can test the run off water nd i found it 9.5 why is it so high from 6.5 to 9.5!!! In this case what should I do?

When they're that little I'm pretty sure you don't need to water to runoff. I know I didn't water anywhere near that much. I haven't grown in coco (just soil) so I can't say for sure but I do know that you're supposed to rinse the coco really well before using it -- maybe that's a contributing factor?

What are you using for lights, CFLs? If so, you can have it really close to your plant -- like 6". And when the second set of serrated leaves show up, which will be soon, you can move it as close as 2". Just use your hand to test that the bulb's not putting off too much heat (if it's a CFL, it won't be more than just warm). Looking at your second picture, your seedling is stretching too much, which can lead to problems later on (although you can mitigate some of that when you transplant it by burying part of the stem).

Other than the stretching it looks good, so you can relax about the praying leaves!

Forgot to add -- you can start your light cycling if you like (I think you want 18/6, though). I left my seedlings on 24/0 for the first few weeks just to give them a head start on growing, before I moved them outside.

Thx man i got a feeling there was something wrong why? Couz it was growing really fast i mean the root was looong and after first day planting she popped from the medium anyway,, the problem was the coco has built a lot of salt couz when i tested the run off water was 9.6!!! I had to fix it by adding a 6.1 ph water till the run off water is the same and about the praying leaves now they closed instead of spreading,,, rockie mistake that i didn't test the run off and i really hope the plant will recover im not gonna water at all for at least 3 or 5 days feeling sad about this mistake

In the mean time i placed another seed in a water cup but its white rhino

I know all about rookie mistakes firsthand (lights too-weak, not pHing the water, etc). These plants can take it, as long as you catch your mistake soon enough. I bet it recovers quickly. Good luck!

The lights are good, just make sure you keep them real close!

I agree with Aloner but would do 24/0 light because CFLs aren't very bright and won't burn unless almost touching just keep an eye on it for growth spurts .
Currently use 2 gal bubbleponics tank
    Using 150 Watt HPS
    Trying 300 watt LED
General Hydro Nutes ,reg and organic
    Small 23" x 21" area

24 hours light ,and if possible get at least 6 or 8 more cfls and place them no farther than 2 inches away from your seedlings. Good luck, light is what makes your plant grow . Light = Food
Cfls for a week or two
    315lec for everything else
Dug up Ms.topsoil, with perlite added
    36x36x63 inch tent.
6inch - exaust - intake fans an scrubber
    Smart pots
    Molasses
    Autoflowers

After mine break through the soil i only leave the humidity dome on for about 24hr. You want a good exchange of air for your plants. The moisture is needed for the roots to initially grow well and for the seedling to shed its shell. Im still fairly new to cultivating, but have learned from trial and error and all of the help from everyone here at gwe. If you want take a look at my girl, she is a straight cfl grow so in your neck of the woods in terms of bulbs. However i do use soil and foxfarm nutes. She is currently 70 days old and on day 10 of flower. If you ever have any questions, dont hesitate.

Hey guys i started with cfl because everyone said its cheaper nd i have a limited budget but checking on 400 watts hps on Amazon its like 13 dollars per bulb!! Now if i bought two or 4 of them nd add them to my setup that i showed u earlier nd raised the wood way up will that be enough for two plants from seed to flower? I already use an AC nd i have an exhaust fan so what u think guys should i do it or just buy more 30 watts cfl like 6 or 8?

yes the bulb itself might only be $13 but you still need a reflector hood to hold your bulb, also a ballast to power it. Which a cheap kit on amazon is around $115. Depending on your space which looks to be about a 2x2 you would only be able to fit one of them in your setup. My suggestion would be to buy an LED since it will give you good coverage in your area and be able to take you from seed to harvest if you get one that is dimmable.
