hi everybody im a new member im not too sure how this works but i was wondering if anyone out there had any concrete knowledge about how sensitive cannabis plants are to light? how much light does it take to keep them from going into flower? if i have one led on in a room of 5 over night will it stay in veg ? any information on this would be immensely appreciated. im having a hard time finding anything on it thank you so much for your time

If you want to keep your plant in vegetative growth, just keep your light schedule to 18 hours on 6 off, but it will keep all the plants in that space in veg state.
when you switch the light schedule to 12/12 that will induce flowering.

no they are photo period plants, also i should add my greenhouse was built on the end of my house and doesnt get direct sunlight until about 10 am but they still get radiant light i would think that would be enough to let them know its day and then i turn my leds on when it starts to go down and they are in preflower for sure now. the last 6 -7
years they havent even gone into preflower until late august? if i can i will try to upload some pics if you think it may help

That is pretty weird that this is the first occurrence.
i don't know anything about greenhouse stuff. I only know indoor grows where I control the variables.
I was ruling out the simplest answer.Current Grow: seeds in July 3rd, 2017

i know it makes no sense they are going against nature.. and blazed227 they are in later stages of preflower the calyx have popped thier pistils and they are now browning like they are going into full flower my only guess right now is them not getting direct light until 10 am are confusing them its just so much work to see them go into flower 3 months early. i really appreciate everybodys time on here it means alot thank you

I have an ogk strain that is already throwin pistils like crazy an some are brown.. its indoor on 18/6 lighting.. as long as its just hairs an buds arent forming u ahould be ok, its prolly just preflowering, im pretty sure ANY light wil do. Any form of constant light should work to keep it in veg.. anyway hope everyrhing works out
