Should I be defoliating this?

Hey everyone! Just checked my room, and I was wondering if I should be defoliating this jock horror auto plant. First grow, so not sure how beneficial defoliating is, and if it's cool to do to autos. Thanks everyone!

I don't grow autos and I don't have a lot of experience but I would let it grow into a teenager before u start molesting it. I defoliated mine when i switch to flower and i do it aggressively. But that's me.
