5-15gal air pump in a 6quart reservoir. I will for sure, hopefully she will be happier in the morning.

I hadn't planned on it. I bought it to grow smaller auto plants. Is there a downside to a smaller reservoir in DWC other than having to top off more often?Current grow:

🌱 Yes, as far as I know, just the topping off more often. I just know I grew in a 2.5 gallon reservoir once, and by the end of the flowering stage I was filling it up more than once a day because the roots were so big I could only really add a gallon at a time and it was going through that in less than a day. But I also let the plant get way too big before I switched it to the flowering stage (it was two feet high at harvest). Since you have an auto, I doubt it will get as big! 🌱

I'm no expert, but I do believe she is feeling better this morning. The RR is also a lot dryer. I was seeing some nute burn on the second set of leaves so I added some PHd water and dropped the ppm down to 335. Can't wait to get home from work to check on her.2 PhotosCurrent grow:

That's what I was thinking. Plus I've only got 4ft to work with so I opted for the shorter reservoir to give myself more vertical growth room if I need it. She is still growing strong. You can really see where the nutes got that second set of leaves, but the third set are coming in greener than all the rest so I think my ppm is in line. PH: 5.8 PPM: 3051 PhotoCurrent grow:

So these pics are from this morning to now, roughly 12 hours apart. The growth and the green are there, but whyyyyyyyyyyyyy is she looking so damn sad????? This is so frustrating. I taped off the lid for light leaks and I did my first res change when I got home. The internal res temp before changing was 77F which isn't too terribly hot right? 🌱 Definitely some major growth! Almost always when the plant is droopy, it means there's something going on at the roots. If there's absolutely no light getting into the reservoir, and you have plenty of bubbles in the water, I would look at the temperature. 77°F is pretty hot for a reservoir. Many growers recommend 68°F. Mine usually stays around 73 or 74°F. You mentioned you're using Hydroguard, but you might consider adding other root-helping supplements like Great White or SM-90, just because everyone's version of root rot is a little different, and Hydroguard might not be as effective at your specific pathogen as another option might be. 🌱(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ Poof!

Ok then I just ordered some Great White. When I woke up this morning she had perked up some after the lights had been off for 6 hours which leads me to believe it's definitely the reservoir temp getting too high. So here's my temporary solution. I took the bottom half of my humidity dome (which I was already using with a wet towel to raise the humidity a little bit) and filled it about a quarter of the way with water, put the reservoir in it with 2 ice packs. Hopefully that will keep the reservoir cool until I find another way to bring the overall temp down in the box. This pre made grow box is nice, but they need to make them with stronger intake and exhaust fans.2 PhotosCurrent grow:
