I hear ya. I'd be less concerned if I wasn't loosing leaves. I've got a few new sets turning now. I'll post pics tonight. I'll get some close ups of the new damage.

Update pics. Notice the damage on the Critical kush and the Blueberry has a odd coloring/lightening. Is that light burn on the Blueberry? It is taller but not by much. And they're still drying out..

hey sabbath this may sound stupid this time of year but do you have a big temp swing in your grow room I do in the winter and I get purple leafs and buds if not I would say it was a light problem like dass said

I'd guess 6 to 8 inches. No less than 6". And no I don't have a huge temp swing in my grow room. It's been a little warm in there I think. Low 80's (F) with about 40% humidity. But it's pretty consistent.

I just finished reading the help section on how to water your plants. Yea I'm not really doing much of that lol. I stopped watering till it came out from the bottom of the pot when I realized I had fungus gnats. Since then I've been giving them basically 1/2 a liter of water each when the soil felt dry about an inch down.. Should I be doing it more like what I just read?

What kind of lights are you using ??? If it's 1000 watt hps, at 6 inches that's to close, check out Nebulas articles on light distances on GWE 150watt hps, lights are normally kept about 7 or 8 inches away or higher. I can't remember the distance for 1000watt but I'm sure it's at least 10 or 12 inches maybe higher , so yes it's probably light burn. I just looked Nebula says to keep them no closer than 16 inches unless you have a proper way of venting the heat away.

Thanks I'll take a look. I'm using X2 300w LED's and I can comfortably hold my hand under it at this distance. I'm pretty sure now I've been totally screwing up the watering aspect. After I read the watering guide here I gave them a nice drink. Today they seem to be recovering. I have pics from last night when they were wilting badly. I'll post those and some from later tonight to show the difference. I have a lot of yellowing now

I just harvested my plant using 1- 300watt led ,actual watt at the wall was 150, and I kept it at 17 to 18 inches away the whole time. I know all leds are different but GWE,suggests 18 inches for a 300watt. You can't put your hand under the light for leds , they don't get that hot.read GWE . Just trying to maybe stop another

Ohh jeez, I'm way too close. I believe my LEDs are the 300w (equivalent) Mars hydro's. I haven't used my kill-a-watt on them but I'd imagine they're around 130-150w @ the plug. I'm @ the point now where I've been reading so much I'm forgetting where I read what. I'm going to read GWE again. Hopefully pics later, today's been a rough day. Ohh and thanks D.A.A.S.69!

Sry, dbl post. Here are the pics. I swear I could have watched them burn/turn yellow it happened so fast. 2 days is all it took to burn the Kush. I noticed it 2 nights ago. So I've raised my lights to about 16". But what should I do for watering next? Should I give it a good bath with nutrient/PH adjusted water or just plain ph adjusted water? Like a pour out the bottom kitchen da thing like I read the other night? I've been under watering with just enriched water..? Sorry and thank you. I'll be reading more I can see.

well I think after you raise your lights you can water normally so if your scheduled to give them nute then give them nutes. from the pictures I would say not to worry they will recover

Yeah just take it easy , they will be fine ,it's really pretty hard to kill them. . Just find the SWEETSPOT for your lights and proper water and feed and before to long you will have some nice bud for your efforts. Good Luck

Hey Sabbath. Basically nice plants, they are showing classic root issues normally due to Over watering.
what happens is the roots don't get enough air and so don't thrive.
Because the roots are stressed the plants dry out easily. So you water them like crazy and they bounce back temporarily, but don't seem to be thriving.
I recommend that you water them less, allowing the soil to dry out some, but not to the point of wilting. Then only give them a little water, so it will take less time for the soil to dry out. Also, don't feed any nutes. Just clean water until they seem happy again. The soil should never be desert dry, but it needs aeration.
Depending on how wet your soil is, it may take a week before you see progress.
I grow in soil and I rarely water to saturation. Maybe once before a week vacation. I often go several days without watering.
