So, for my next grow (with detailed grow log) I have the following options for seeds to grow:

    White Widow Feminized Autoflower
    Northern Lights Feminized Reg
    Cannatonic Feminized Reg
    Random Mystery Seeds (unknown strain)

So, would it be suggested for beginners to learn with auto's or regulars? From my research it appears they both come with their own set of unique issues to watch out for. Is one commonly easier then the other? Or, I have 10 random mystery seeds, should I try one of those and save my good genetics for when I have a few toss'able grows under my belt?

    Thoughts & commits always welcome!

Autos are easyier for beginers because there more resiliant to things like heat light nutes stress, mold viruses ect... also u never have to worry about light leaks to hermaphridte iv grown a good amount of autos and never really had any issues. They also give ya a nice yield the only bad thing is if u kill ur leaves they can't reveg to grow them back but as long as u follow the general rules ull be fine

I would grow an auto ,the WhiteWidow would do fine. Autos are really pretty easy to grow, plus you'll be smoking good bud sooner. Good Luck Adept1

🌱 Do you have any pictures of your plants in the setup? Sometimes we might be able to catch something you missed that is sabotaging you. Were your plants healthy and just didn't yield well, or were they unhealthy? If they were healthy, this page has like a worksheet to try to figure out what was the limiting factor that prevented you from getting the yields you were looking for. 🌱

Here ya go, still running both lights over four Northern Lights in 3rd week of Flowering. I don't have much hope for these ladies either as I've been chasing what I now believe was PH issues during Veg but thought were deficiency issues at the time.

🌱 They actually don't look too bad! Can we see a picture in natural light?

How close are your LEDs? Are you noticing the yellowing most on the parts of the plant that are close to the light? It might be possible they're experiencing light burn, as those LEDs look very powerful. LEDs can burn plants even if it's cool, because they have powerful lenses focusing the light down. Is it possible to move them up a few inches to see if that helps stop the spreading of symptoms? 🌱

Lights are off for the night, I will get some natural light pictures tomorrow. Kind of embarrassing but I'll do it!

After my current tent is empty I'm going to start another grow with a single plant under the 400w with detailed grow log, I've got everything I need except the skill & experience required.

            Thanks guys!
Actually I might suspect too much light was the problem in a tent that size.

Took some photos but can't unload as they are too large, will resize & upload shortly. I don't think the photos look nearly as bad as in person.

I chased my tail for 2 years and then followed the coco with GH nutrients tutorial on this site. It works.

                  completed 7 grows
what I have learned so far:
                  environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

🌱 I noticed your symptoms seem worst near the top and around the edges of the plants where it's being exposed to light. Could it possibly be heat/light burn from the LEDs being too close? It looks a lot like this example from an HPS being too close to the plants: http://www.growweedeasy.com/sites/gr...ots-leaves.jpg 🌱

Edit: Ooops, I see people already pointed that out. I just wanted to add that your buds themselves appear to be shaping up very nicely!

To me it just looks like the leaves are purpleing. If that's the case it's most likely a low temp. If it is purpleing it's nothing to worry about. It also could be from high Uv light that will bring out purpleing as well.

Also unless u just turned ur light on and she's just wakeing up then she's getting light stressed the curling down of the tips. It's not n tox (no dark green leaves) also not wind burn because leaf sides arnt curling down like an upside down counue. So it's getting light stressed and if ur light have a Uv spectrum that's what's purpleing the leaves if temp is fine. And if that's the case either move ur light further away or simply add co2. The purpleing is fine there is debate on green bud is more potent but I grew a candy cane that I made purple right up and she kicked ass.
