So reading kind soils q&a page they suggest 2lbs of kind for autos in a 3gal pot.
"An auto-flower will not need more than 2 lbs. of kind soil in its life cycle."
I use 5gal smart pots...so I sent an email to kindsoil.com asking if 2.5lbs would be good for a 5gal pot. The answer I got was...
"We suggest 3 lbs of kind soil for all autoflowers."-Phil Kind

I'm curious what say You ? How much do you use in what size pot for autos?

      Thanks for the info
      Cheers

I used about 2 and a half pounds of KindSoil on the bottom of a 3 gallon SmartPot, FFOF on top. In a 5 gallon SmartPot I would use at least 3 and a half pounds of KindSoil on the bottom. Good Luck with it.

Purple mazar is still stretching so I raised her an inch and a half. The support I had used was multi-strand wire, (normally I use single-strand) was twisted around a pen for the shape. My single strand supply is being used on some plants in flower but it is easier to manipulate and retain its shape. I needed a larger loop for support that allows movement. Looking around the garage I found landscape stakes...bingo.

Yep alltatup, The purple mazar shot up when it sprouted in the sprouting dome. But I made her wait before I put her rooter in coco and under the lights. That's when she strecthed. She's toughening up, almost standing on her own. When I transplant her in her final pot I will plant deeper if need be.
Thanks for noticing and mentioning it 👍

Coming along nicely. When I transplant purple mazar she will go a couple inches deeper take up some stem. But she is strengthening from the fan, a little too lanky though.
Both are on their 3rd node.

I misspoke on my last post when I said they were 2 weeks old. July 18 is when I put them in the rooters.

Alltatup the ones in the picture outside are just about 3 weeks old. I just put 2 more seeds (different strains) in the sprouter today. Then start a couple more seeds in a few more weeks. Starting my perpetual auto grow now that the bagseed are about done. Stoked about the variety.

Alltatup there is a country song about when you play music making people feel what you feel inside.(The Ride)

Very interesting "HYBRID" music, like some superb cannabis strain. She's half African-American, and all of that musical influence--blues, gospel, all forms of soul--is deeply woven into their music. Truly a new genre. I loved it.

The leaves yellowed a bit and got some light spots. I either gave them a drink that was too hot or the ph was off. I believe I locked things up so I made up some light nutes ph'd to 5.8-6 (using test strips). And all seems well again. New growth looks healthy. Purple mazar is standing on her own. Almost ready to move into bigger pots !

Well I figured out my ph pen is off, and I don't have calibration fluid. So I've been using test strips.
Apparently I'm not qualified. Lol I've been giving acidic juice to my babies.🤢
It's been a couple of days and the new growth is green and reaching up to the sun and lights. But the damaged leaves are still fading. At first sight it is ghastly. But we're on the mend.

It affected the purple mazar more than the kush. The kush is ready for transplanting. Hopefully she can hold on a day or two while I get my goodies together.
I need a second job to fund my grow 🤔
                Cheers Californiakid

Buried Purple Mazar up to where her cotyledons were.

The roots were good on the kush. But the Mazar's were lacking. Which is what I expected considering what I see above ground.
