Is this normal - First timer

    Hi all,

    Great website and forum.

2 Critical Autoflowering plants now in their 7th week and are flowering. Seed bank states they can be ready in 8 weeks but having read through this site have seen advice to let the go ~10 or so.

I started using GH Flora Bloom last week.

Anyway, I've notice a lot of leaves becoming yellow and some becoming yellowish green around the middle of the plants. I realise some yellowing is normal in flowering but am concerned they may potentially have an issue with nitrogen deficiency? I've posted a photo and would be grateful if some experienced growers could offer advice. First time grower btw.

    Regards

    Korben.

Hi Korben, I think its normal to see that. Yes it's nitrogen deficiency, that's the reason you see yellow leaves at the end, near harvest. Because you gave mostly bloom nutes to the plant, it used up all the nitrogen in the soil, and now that it doesnt have any to use up, it "drains" it from the leafs. I associate this with flushing, the plant is slowly getting "rid" of nutrients buildup (because you're forcing her to). Maybe its a bit early, depends on your taste. Some bloom nutes should have a little bit of nitrogen to palliate this, if you think you need to remedy it. Be extremely careful not to overdo it, or she might get confused.

I'm NOT an experienced grower. (Hence you might take this with a grain of salt, or wait for someone else)

    Multipass. Mouuuultipass. Big boom badaboom.
Inexperienced outdoor grower, near Switzerland. I have some theoretical knowledge and only a little bit of practice, hence take what I say with a grain of salt. Also I believe everyone has his own growing way.

Welcome to GWE, Mr. Dallas. It's no Fhloston Paradise but it's still pretty great. In my utterly inexperienced opinion, I think that's within the realm of "normal" yellowing but wait to hear from someone who knows what they're talking about.

Hey guys a quick update I just harvested the 2 plants after 9.5 weeks. A little early but I'm off to Europe soon. Total weight wet = 502g. My trimming skills need a little work to say the least. Thanks for the help and the GrowWeedEasy has been an invaluable resource.

          Regards

          Korben
