Not transplanting. They will stay in the cups for the whole grow.

Ok, here they are after 21 days in the 16oz cup. They look good but are very dark green considering the PPM is at 300. I'm keeping the T5 light on 24/7.
the first pic on the left is the photoperiod plant and the one on the righ is the auto.
in 9 more days i will put the photo on 12/12 , but will leave the auto on 24/0 until she flowers and on to harvest. So far im impressed by how well they are doing.
    any comments are welcome.

Here's an update for you. Im going to include both the photo and auto cup grows in this so you can see the difference.
the phot is still in veg while the auto is starting to flower and has grown a lot in the last week. It will be fun to see how much i get off the auto.

The most difficult part of this grow is the watering. Being that the cup is so small, and has no way for the air to get to the roots, its very easy to under or over water.
Especially over watering. I water to run off but the plant seems to not like being that wet for the first day or so and shows signs of drooping until some of that water drains out and some air gets in to replace it. But this only last for a day and then its dry again. Even though this is a fun experience it is a pain in the ass to manage.
I wont be doing this again.

Up date: here is the auto i was growing along with the photo in the contest.
She is about to be harvested any day so i thought it would be a good timee to post this pic.
I don't suggest anyone wasting a seed on this kind of grow. Even though it was fun.

Thought you might like to see what the root ball looks like for the mini cup grow.
This is what happens to roots that are left in the cup too long and also if you grow in solid pots not air pots.

Very impressive! I cannot believe she survived, although being auto it does seem possible. Now the photo on the other hand, I can't help but think it will really suffer.

I am definitely going to plant my autos in my two gallon buckets after seeing this. I think 5 gallon buckets would be overkill.
